It happened just before 7 00 last night, on lake alfred road and winter haven. Deputies tell us 75yearold Wilbur Sylvester crossed the road. And the impact killed him. To pasco county, to break into cars. Several cases in the trinity area. Sergeant chris thomas says the most recent cases involved cars left unlocked. Deputies are looking into auto burglaries throughout the area. Including kins mere and marshall drive. I think they were looking for money. And when they didnt find it, that was it. And a great testimony to this community. 10,000 volunteers will touch and were filling up very much in the november season. But theres lots of Time Slots Available in december. And we just love the volunteers. They lead this effort. And whats great about the volunteers is nay they meet these clients, eyeball to eyeball and give them hope. What are the different roles have you available . If we wanted to serve 18,000 people we could back up the truck and give you a food box we have all kinds of opportunities for kids, as well as adults. Sorting the food. Providing hospitality. Being a greeter. Helping people park their car. Taking the food out. Like publix does. Take the food out to their car. Help them shop for the products that they want for their families. Its a great way for people to get involved and make a difference in someones life. So many of the volunteers are experiencing their first holiday alone. Or maybe moving to the area. And you all give them that is filled with love and joy. How does how many of them are in that predicament . So many. We talk about the miracles that happen at that tent. The giving and receiving. Its those that give get as much or if not more than theyre giving. Many are looking for purpose in their life and they can find that by giving back to the community and giving hope to someone else who is struggling.
