If youre heading out of the door to e4 and the lakeland area into tampa, your dry, looking great and the lanes are on i275, still looking good and this is one of the busiest roads in the area for the morning drive. Check it out. Were still in the green. 14 minutes from the apex to i4 and five minutes from downtown to the Howard Franklin bridge. And just about two minutes after 6 in on this friday, a mother and her children among five killed in a deadly crash and now the investigation is centering around what happened as we got our hands on this video. Posted t responsible for the deadly collision. Its heartbreaking. Lindsay logue is live in tampa now. At one point, the driver was going 115 Miles Per Hour. Reporter and good morning to you. That video posted to snapchat was taken as cortez drove over the Howard Franklin bridge. The speed limit there, the posted speed limit is 65 miles an hour. But, his Snapchat Filter clocked him at 115 going over the bridge and that video was night. Lets show you more of that snapchat video exclusive to abc action news. More than 50,000 people have watched it since we posted it to facebook. It was taken by cortezs girlfriend. And shes in the passenger seat. You can see on the app that he hits speeds of over 80 and up to 115 Miles Per Hour. And shortly after the video was posted, cortez lost control of his car on mlk and flew over the median inside and that minivan bust into flames and his car hit two more cars and he and his girlfriend died instantly this is not the first time that the filter has been at the center of investigation. There are lawsuits on the table in some states because of it and crashes like this, of course, prompting advocates to complain and rally at snapchat promotes speeding. This morning, more pasco county deputies are going to patrol a Wesley Chapel bus stop after reports of a man trying to lure a little boy away from that area yesterday morning and Authorities Say that boy was walking near the 6400 block of mangrove drive when a man tried to lure him into the woods with candy. That is when the 11yearold boy took off running to his bus stop. The deputies say the suspicious man took off in a different directio alert. Anybody with information about this man or what happened should call the pasco county sheriffs office. And right now, firefighters are monitoring hotspots after a fire broke out yesterday at this warehouse in tampa. All the people in the building managed to get out safely but several birds and pay monkey did not. The firefighters were able to get into the building at first and explosions forced them back outside. It took them four hours to get the flames under control. And one fidid refer minor injuries and were waiting to after this fire here killed two people in sarasota county, rescuers are returning to the scene and hope to try to save others from the same fate. Firefighters will be back on sugar lane road and this morning starting at 10, theyll go doortodoor in the Kensington Park neighborhood handing out smoke alarms. The authorities identified the two people who died in the fire as benjamin and cynthia langford. The crews broke through a wall to rescu from serious order judge. And this morning, were hearing from donald trump about a scare for his running mate. The plane mike pence was riding in skidded off a new york runway. Lets look live at Laguardia Airport where crews are working to remove that plane right now. The plane fish tailed as it landed in new york in the rain. Wednesday night after the here on mlk. In fact, he told us that hes omagh, live by mere seconds. That video you mentioned posted to snapchat and shows the driver pablo cortez on the Howard Franklin bridge at 115 miles an hour. And this video was posted to social media just 9 minutes before the crash out here on mlk. I want to give you a better idea of what the stretch of road looks like out here. Its wide open. The three lanes in both directions with between the stoplights. Rodriguez said that heavings driving in the area and he was driving in the area and saw a car driven by pablo cortez speeding on mlk. If he could have anticipated a crash, there was no time to react. It was a hard scene to watch. I got about like 10 feet close to it and i couldnt deal with it no more. So, i turned my head and walked harder to look at now knowing that a mother and her three children and another child were trapped in that burning minivan. They were all coming home from church at the time. Three lives still hang in the balance this morning, including a teenage girl who likely has no idea her mom, her younger sister and younger brother died in that crash. She successes again, one of three at Tampa General Hospital. Rodney is there new with more. Any word on how theyre reporter well, at this point, two of the victims are still in Critical Condition this morning. A third woman and another vehicle is listed in serious condition and the loved ones of that 19yearold said that that are not sure how she will react when she wakes up and discovers her mother and two siblings died in the crash. I dont know. I dont know how shes going to wake up and just live with that 19yearold lin lena burnel and her cousin luisa and 54yearold carla wayman who was in a separate car remain here at tampa general this morning. John, maria and her mom were killed in the crash and the family is in the process of making Funeral Plans and loved ones are holding up the best they can. Were all in shock and dont know what to do. r and three are in critical. Its not right. Reporter and both maria and john went to mango elementary where their classmates made cards to remember them. Their deaths hitting students and staff at the school hard. Grief counselors will be on hand today at the school to help those students and staff who need it. For now, reporting live outside of Tampa General Hospital this morning, rodney dunegan, abc day. While Hillary Clinton has an apparent electoral lead, 272, you need 270 to win. Donald trump can still win the election. Take a look at this map based on a cnn poll. 22 states you see here in red and blue, rather, or are leaning, or are solidly democratic. 22 states in red are leaning or are republican. Six states, including key ones like floridano ohio they are considered battleground states. Congressional districts in two states, nebraska and in maine, could also go either way. Now, if trump wins the battleground states and can flip a leaning Democratic State like michigan, wisconsin, or virginia, he will win the election. With florida being a battleground state, every vote is important. So far, more than 2. 1 million floridians have voted early by mail. What is interesting is that even though there are more registered democrats in florida flat. That can be a good sign for trump as traditionally more republicans vote on election day. And practice sounds illegal but probably isnt is getting a lot of attention right now and that is called vote swapping and this is how it works. Participants use smartphones to trade votes with people in other states. And the fact of the matter is that if its a oneonone transaction involving just two people with each other, that in and of itself is an expression of speech and act. Florida fish and wildlife agents are warning people in hudson beach to be on the lookout for a monkey. There were several recent sightings of an animal. Fwc wants to hear from you. Dont approach the monkey. Its not native to florida but there is a wild macaque population in lake county. And a mystery monk was caught in thing zoo in dade city. At last check, they were in Critical Condition. Three of their family members were killed in the accident, were students at mango elementary and their classmates are going to remember them. They made cards to remember them. A third woman injured remains in the hospital in serious condition. And just two days after Hilary Clinton campaigned in florida, president obama is coming to our state to campaign for his former secretary of state. The president scheduled to speak this afternoon at the university of central florida. He plans to encourage floridians to vote early. The boy ran away toward his bus stop while the man took off in a different direction. Pcso said he is between 20 and 30 years old, has olive skin, brown hair and hazel eyes. And everybody keeps kind of someone is walking down the neighborhood and no one was suspicious, especially because there is a couple of parents that stand out at the bus stop with their children. Reporter once its time for the buses to start circling around the neighbor, pcso telling us that they will have increased patrols in this neighborhood. The flames sadly killed one person. In the middle of the chaos, cameras caught a firefighter grab an elderly man from the fifth floor window and the crew on the roof carefully lowered both men to the ground. The flames were closing in on the victim and they could not wait for a ladder truck. The man is hospitalized this morning with serious burns. And at 6 48 right now. Legal fight to keep the huge christmas light display up. The city of plantation sued the family saying it brings unnecessary traffic, noise, and trash. A judge ruled in favor of the hyatt family saying the city failed to show the lights are a public nuisance. The display features 200,000 lights and attracts thousands in the neighborhood every year.
