The visibility is in downtown tampa at 3 miles. We know with fog though that this changes very rapidly. In fact we are near zero in a lot of spots this morning. New port richey, st. Pete, sarasota, inverness, lakeland, bartow, about a quarter to half mile across the remainder of the area so its pretty widespread this morning. And im pretty certain youre going to, at minimum encounter some hazy conditions but it may be very difficult to see in spots. Again this will last through about 10 00 this morning. Well see more sun by the time we get to noon and 75 degrees. A high of 80 today. Plenty of sunshine and mostly dry day ahead. Coming up. Looking live at abc action news covers this breaking story out of plant city. Police telling us they first received a 911 call about a fight between two people around 8 30 last night. When they got there one man was down in the yard outside a house in the 3,600 block of baker street. Police identified that man as 31yearold jose manuel cazeras. Tampa police overnight investigating a deadly crash that shut down mlk boulevard for hours. Police say it involved two cars and motorcyclist. Happened about 11 30 last night near albany avenue. We have obtained Court Documents revealing new details about a tampa man that allegedly made pipe bombs and stored them in his home. Authorities arrested Michael Ramos we learned is the president of patriot armor. Documents show the founder of that business is the one who called authorities. Agents raided ramos home on lincoln avenue north and found as many as seven pipe bombs, smoke grenades and tear gas. Document say he admitted he made the pipe bombs and bought the materials online using his girlfriends credit card. Agents dont believe ramos is going to set off the bombs, the fact that he had them was alarming enough. Anybody within a 50foot radius could either be severely injured or killed so they are ramos told agents that he didnt like the government and he was a member of a st. Petersburg militia. When asked about what agents found he responded if [expletive] hits the fan you never know if you might need it. Hes set to appear in federal court tomorrow. Were trying to get video of a man accused of attacking three people while on a flight to florida. Joseph sharky could face 20 years in prison on what Authorities Say happened on the jetblue flight from washington, dc to jacksonville. They say he put another passenger in a headlock and fought with two flight tanneddants before the plane landed. Day care workers in jail after day care worker in jail after Authorities Say she was accused of throwing a boy to the ground. This video could be troubling to watch. Another employee turned her in. 41yearold Kimberly Reed is facing charges. Rough with the child but staff claimed she had abused the child for three weeks. Police say reed was already on probation out of Orange County for welfare fraud and grand theft. Code investigators are looking into whether she should have been working at the day care in the first place. The child wasnt seriously hurt. A shootout in Temple Terrace has authorities on a hunt for two Armed Robbery suspect. The victim told 911 operators he just got home from the store close to 11 00 sunday night and was unloading groceries when he was attacked. He was shot in the finger and also suffered injuries to his arm and head. During the robbery the victim pulled out his own gun and fired off seven rounds. I feared for my family so i grabbed a gunman who had his distracted i pushed them away, and ran away from the house. The second i could i drew my firearm and fired at them. Another home was hit with a stray round but no one was home there at the time. This morning parents in Marion County are hoping security will be ramped up at a school after kids were kept out of school yesterday. Investigators say this started last week in the West Port High School lunchroom. They say several students waved a confederate flag, another student was offended and threw a punch. Two Virginia Tech students charged in the murder of a 13 yearold girl are due back in court next month. David eisenhower and natalie keepers made their first appearances in court yesterday but neither entered a plea. Both facing charges in the murder of 13yearold nicole lovell. Her body was found near the border of Virginia North carolina last weekend. Investigators say eisenhower may have lured nicole out of her home. The family says she pushed a dresser against her bedroom door and climbed out a window. We have determined that eisenhower and nicole were acquainted prior to her disappearance. He used this relationship to his advantage to abduct and then kill her. Investigators have not said they released a motive for the killing. Authorities in Los Angeles County are looking for an inmate mistakenly released before going on trial for a gang related murder. Stevenwrite was released stevenwrite stevenwrite wright was released saturday. Wright was awaiting trial for a gang related murder in 2011. The woman accused of helping Inmates Escape from jail will not be charged due to lack of evidence. Shes been released from jail, she was arrested last week for allegedly providing a google map of the jail to one of the inmates. She taught english at the jail and exchanged personal letters with one of the escaped inmates. They are due back in court today. Authorities now say they planned their escape for at least six months. They broke out on january 22nd and investigators say they abducted a taxi driver and stole a van and took the taxi driver with them to Northern California with the taxi driver and surrendered. As you hit the roads this morning, we have a southerly flow that is pumping in the warmth and the humidity. Mix of sun and clouds, its going to be warmer than average for sure and we may even see a few showers later this afternoon and into this evening from this moist southerly flow. So dont be overly surprised but the rain chances are still pretty small. So anything that you do encounter wouldnt last long or be very widespread. Now, along Pinellas County we may see some temperatures that are a little lower as a result of that moisture and sea fog lingering close to the coastline but the bottom line is most of us in Pinellas County are going to see highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Even to the north in Citrus County today were looking at bottom, well above average for this time of year. And over the next couple of days well see the rain chances going up just a little bit for today and tomorrow in the afternoon. But really on thursday when our next cold front rolls through is when well see our most significant chance for rain.
