An outofcontrol boater taking out several docks near madeira beach. Michael paluska is live at the scene where the damage stretches for several miles. Reporter james, pretty incredible. It actually drove right through the seawall. If you pan over you can see one of the boats got clipped and is now laying under the dock. Lets show you the boat, the one responsible that witnesses describe seeing driving through the bay about two hours ago. Were told there were two people on board. They were driving extremely fast. They hit multiple docks in this area close to the seawall, then they went and hit a sailboat, drug through each part of the areas that they hit. These are wooden, solid frame docks that this boat hit. A commercial fishing boat. People here were just unbelievably amazed at what happened and that these guys werent stopping. They even said there were kids out on some of these docks just moments before they were hit. They were on the dock fishing. A good thing, because one of the parents saw them coming and started yelling at them, and with those kids all over the dock, that would have been an ugly sight. Reporter fwc is investigating. They took two men into custody. They are now testing for fingerprints, trying to figure out exactly what happened. They have not released any information to us about whether or not they were boating under the influence but people here said they were not reacting. As soon as they hit dock, their lights went out. They were boating in the dock, all the way up and around, riding around hitting things, just joyriding and never stopping, even getting caught on a dock and then accelerating as much as they could to break free with that commercial dive boat. Theyre trying to get more information on the boat, who the two men were that were arrested. Live at madeira beach, michael new tonight a fort myers man charged with murdering a baby. Lee county deputies responding to a 911 call early today. A baby not breathing. The eightmonthold died at the hospital. Doctors say the little boy suffered a violent beating. A 27yearold man, you see him right there who was baby sitting at the time, now in jail for murder. Also new tonight, police in Volusia County charging a 34 yearold man with attempted murder for stabbing his elderly parents with a steak knife while guests sat at the his mother once, his father three times following an argument in the kitchen. The parents are recovering at the hospital. And in kentucky, two People Killed today in a shooting at a youth flag football game, some of it caught on camera on a mans Facebook Live video. You can hear the gunshots. A lot of confusion, people scene. Four other people were hit and taken to the hospital. Louisville police are investigating the shooting.
