A homestead woman accused of putting her baby in a freezer a judge ordered paula or tease be released on bond after a physiatrist says shes no longer a danger to herself or others. The family of a missing Fort Lauderdale woman is fighting for custody a child and leaving two children behind. A fourth officer who resigned is accused of making this racist home video that wells and two other officers references in messages. In one of those wells is accused of using a racial slur against a suspect who had crashed and bailed out of his car. Such language made prosecution impossible. How can you hate them and then be fair and impartial towards them. The messages made their way to the broward state attorneys office. They had to drop 18 cases where wells was. A firefighter from jamaica who suffered severe burns in the line of duty is recovering in south florida now getting the help he needs thanks to Miamidade County firefighters and a great team of doctors. Gabby has more. Jamaican firefighter tenson has gone from battling blazes to fighting as hard as he possibly can just to bend his fingers. For the two weeks ive been here ive seen miracles. Severe burns to his hands and face when a propane tank explodes inside of a burning home in kingston. I was out for six months, 14 surgeries and the doctors realized that the cure i needed was other hands. The hospital in jamaica lacked the resources needed to treat him properly and almost resorted to amputating his fingers so he reached out to a retired captain and they flew him to the Memorial Hospital for specialized treatment. People were assisting him to get dressed, feed himself, open doors for him. He can now move his fingers, pinch and pick things up. The firefighters from unit 1403 have been his support system while his wife and daughter wait for him back home. Make me feel like im a part of the family. I cannot find the words to say thank you. He was able to tie his shoe for the first time. And thought he was going to lose his fingers and never going to be able to bend his fingers im really, really happy for him. Mcfarland still has a long battle ahead of him and will never fully recover function in his hands but is confident hell get back to saving lives. That is my dream, my love.
