No one answered the door. As you can see behind me, the club is closed for business. This was certainly, as you mentioned, a horrifying case captured on a cell phone camera and posted live online. The video circulating on social media captures the moments before the gunman opened fire, then multiple shots. The phone drops to the ground, tpd confirming they are looking at video from inside the club. Someone was recording in the club and we would like to take a look at that. Well be looking at that shortly to see what kind of evidence we can grab from that. Another woman, she approaches. The video plays on, until she learns one of those shot was her friend. A total of eight shot. Marvin lancaster, iii, dead. Four men and three women were wounded ranging in age from 17 to 32. Investigators telling us their injuries range from minor to very serious. It was just a lot of people running. I mean, quite naturally, people are going to run. Trying to get out the door. Juno davis works at the club and didnt witness any trouble prior to hearing the gunfire. It didnt stop. The man just went crazy and went to shooting. Wasnt no fight or nothing. Davis saw some of those hit after the club cleared out. It was the guy slumped over with the bullet. A lady, shot in the leg and a davis telling news channel 8, every patron is supposed to be frisked at the door, so she has no clue how the gunman was able to get in.
