Reporter well jen, things are calm and quiet as far as the protest is concerned here. It is really just a typical thursday night. We have seen a lot of those protesters leave the area heading to their trump signs. But earlier tonight when that protest started around 8 00, a rot of people were not sure what to expect. Protesters sort of blocking 7th avenue through the heart of the city around 8 00 tonight. According to tampa police a couple hundred came here with signs and chants, expressing their dissatisfaction with the president ial election outcome. We dont want regressive policies. We dont want regressive people in office. Reporter but these young people know the power of social media. Even though the crowd isnt as large and seen in other cities such as l. A. And new york they are hoping to spread their message of unification through the internet. Its going to go on social media as you know they will go viral. Social media, they can cover thousands and thousands and thousands of people in just like one day, one hour even. Reporter many here just want peace and stability. I hope we all unite together one and for all. Okay. Reporter according to tampa police that there were no arrests here tonight and no property damage. And also breaking right now, the deadly deputyinvolved shooting in polk county. The man they came to talk to is dead. Peter bernard is live where that shooting happened on del past hour. Reporter and keith this all started around 6 00 tonight at a house just down the way. You can see the yellow house over my shoulder here. A 75yearold mother asked her 52yearold son to move a car into the backyard where he got angry. It went downhill fast. That son ran to the bedroom and shut the door. His mother marge margerie called the sheriffs department. He yelled that im going to ll bedroom they heard a shot from the front yard. He snuck out the back and was fighting with his brother. They ordered that fighting to stop. When john jumps up he points his gun at one of our deputies. When he does that its the last thing he does. Our deputy shot him and he was deceased on the ground. I grabbed her like this and i was like oh my gosh. Because the shots were just, you know, it was loud. You see cops involved. Yeah. Then you see the gunshots. And you hear that you know its not good. Reporter the emir has two gunshot wounds. One in each leg as it stands now that there are no indications that drugs were involved, insisting that they did what they needed to do and they had to shoot the guy. And he is is the owner undisputed fitness gym. Hillsborough detectives said that del vallenazario had sex with the girl at the gym and at home for months. But if it gets to the point where his life is in danger we need to change hats and save him as well. The deputies did save his life taking him to the hospital.
