Breaking news out of columbus where on man attacking people with a machete has been this happened outside the easton shopping center. Four people were hurt and the man ran off and the police found him and he was killed in the confrontation. Overgrown hooves and horses rescued from horrendous conditions. Two women in macedonia called police after they got a funny feeling about a couple of guys knocking on doors asking to shovel snow. The drinking, the partying. The depression. I have been through it all. And just 13 crystal owens was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Helping them. They are helping me. Here. Deborahs depression was once so severe she tried to commit suicide. She says the Center Services like art therapy keeps her alive. It is like making me take a breath of fresh ill. Society. I have worn out more shoes. Officer governor john kaisch claims he has come to the rescue of the medically ill by expanding medicaid. It covers the costs of treatment and prescriptions for Mental Illnesses. When i study scripture. I know the people in the shadows need a chance. The funding for medicaid is not the only person that a person needs. Bill donahue says it is not that simple. And he says services and job training and support groups matter just as much. How important are those services that you just listed . Well, they save lives. Thats how important they are. So you think the services would be well funded, especially in cuyahoga, the investigators revealed the number, we found they were seriously shortchanged. We should get close to 6 million. We get 450,000. Out of the counties here Cuyahoga County receives the least amount per person. Out of 128 Million Health and Addiction Fund the state gives cuyahoga 7 of the money even though the county makes up 11 of the population. Thats wrong. Thats blatantly wrong and continues to happen. If we dont have the funding to take care when they are mild or moderately ill, they become really air and costs us more money. I hear voices. Like what happened to jeffrey marshall. I get signals from the television and radio. He has been hospitalized at least ten times because of his schizophrenia. Hospitalizations that can cost up to 600 a day. Are demonned possessed and thing like that. So why isnt ohio giving Cuyahoga County more money. We wanted to ask this woman. Stacy pluck is the director of the Mental Health and addiction services.
