Paul, you spoke to the family of the missing woman who is praying that she wasnt one of those bodies investigators but there are family and friends out here of two missing women. They are very nervous and upset as you can very well imagine as you take a live look at the crime scene out here. A lot of authorities are going through the house with the police chief who says that two women, that two bodies were found earlier. Now, those family and friends tell us that one of the missing women disappeared about a month ago. Relatives told us her name is elizabeth griffin. Relatives of another missing woman say her name night they say on east main in ashland after getting a flat tire. Her family actually found her car. Now police havent confirmed any of this only saying that the two bodies were found in this house a block away from downtown ashland. One person was abducted, but managed to escape. This is one of the fliers that the family put out of Stacey Stanley, a missing flier. They have been very actively searching for her since about thursday night. They found her car, not the police. They found her car on sunday to police saying their loved one were missing. They say allegedly they werent being taken seriously. Lets hear from staceys uncle. Nobody wants it to be their mom. I mean i begged the cops for days to put out a missing persons report for my mom, but they didnt take me seriously. Just because they say they needed to go over by cops protocol. Family or no family, if somebody says they are missing consideration that family knows family that you should go fill out a missing persons report for them. That is days that my mom could have been alive. They heard a woman screaming the other night, the night before, im not for sure. But no cop went in that house to check or nothing like that. Out of the times we were here searching since thursday, theres like 40 of us and not one of us saw a cop or anyone else searching. William roberts just left the Police Department a minute ago, coming out the back door and put into a police car. Police officers took them to the Summit County jail when he came out. I asked him what planning to do with his daughter. He said he was going nowhere and they did not plan on doing anything with them and that jobs and Family Services took his kid away from him. He recently lost custody of his daughter last month. That 15monthold daughter who was with him, i just saw her a bit ago. Sheriff deputies took her to the akron Childrens Hospital to get her checked out. And officers say that they found both of them after a high speed chase this afternoon. Take a look. Of that chase. Police say it began on ledge road in Northfield Village when an officer spotted the make and model of the truck in that amber alert. When the officer tried to pull the truck over, that driver sped off. Speeds reached up to 85 miles an hour. Five miles later that chase ended. The driver identified as William Roberts pulled over and surrendered. And that happened in northfield center. Here is video of that black ford ranger. Officers say that they also found roberts 15 now this whole ordeal started last night in brunswick when police say that William Roberts took his daughter from a kmart parking lot. More than 24 hours later it was a northfield sergeant who spotted that truck, chased it, and made the arrest. We spoke to him a bit ago and here is what he had to say. When i saw it on facebook, i then i realized that she gets on the bus in the morning at the same bus stop that my kids do. They dont ride the same bus, she rides the High School Bus and my kids ride the elementary bus. Reporter roberts had custody of the two children until cops found drugs in his house. And we also learned that social media may have been used to plan a meeting between dad and daughter. It was a part of the information that was coming to light through the investigation. Certainly social media and what is so prief so prevalent today. Now William Roberts will face kidnapping charges. Between yesterday at 5 45 in the evening a man tried to lure a 14yearold girl into his car. At the time he claimed that her mother had sent him. That girl didnt buy the story and refused to get in. Reporter for years odot bridge inspectors used these snooper trucks. But they were not able to see everything including the middle of the bridge. In the near future they could use drones equipped with cameras to reach hardtosee places. The sandusky bridge and over the sandusky river. Odot says that drones would save time, money, and they would be safer. And we will still use a human inspector, but they will be reviewing the images. Our bridge engineers will do that, but from the safety of a lab or from their desk instead of from the snooper truck that is dangling under the bridge to get the same information. And then in Richland County about 20 minutes away along state route 430 another womans body was discovered behind a house in a wooded area. In ashland county, forensic investigators are still searching a home where a woman was found alive, held against her will with two dead bodies in the home with her a. Man has been taken into custody following that investigation. And now were learning of a body in Richland County is believed to be connected to that investigation. A lot of moving parts here. Reporter well there is not a lot of information coming from police here, but i can tell you as you mentioned we now have three bodies of women, women that we confirmed they are women and they have been discovered as you mentioned. The one in a wooded area behind a home in Richland County. Two of those bodies were found right here inside this home on the end here. Two bodies were found the day of a third woman that police tell us she was able to escape alive. And the man that they custody.
