That is all we know at this point. The kansas city fraternal order of Police Tweeted the officer is expected to survive. Just three hours before that a Police Officer in st. Louis was shot twice right in the face. Police say the officer was ambushed while he was sitting in traffic in his cruiser. This officer was not involved in a traffic stop. This officer was not trying to pull th this officer was driving downpour the road and was ambushed by an individual who pointed a gun at him from inside of his car and shot at the Police Officers window. The citys police chief says the officer is this Critical Condition but expected to survive. The suspect killed just a few hours ago during a shootout with police. And an officer shot during a traffic stop last night in florida. The suspect ran in a neighborhood in sanibel, officers did track down the suspect and arrested him after a shootout. The officer was treated and released from the hospital. And right now a manhunt going on in texas for the man that shot and killed a Police Officer there. San Antonio Police posting a photo of the person of interest on their Facebook Page saying he may have investigation on the murder. This happened just outside of Police Headquarters yesterday morning. The officer was writing a ticket. The shooter parked his car behind the patrol car, got out, then shot the officer terrence . Corrina, we all get distracted. Well, make sure you are aware of your surroundings. There have been several carjackings on clevelands west side and nobody has been arrested. They tell they believe the men responsible for the carjackings are still out there this morning and are likely to be car stolen. He says he was held at gunpoint in his own car on west 77th street in broad daylight. He tells us two men told him to give up the car. The first time he refused. Then they gave him an ultimatum, his life or his car so he says he chose to live. I was shaking and everything. I tried to run to to house. I told my wife, call the police. Now, luckily he didnt get hurt. Police have released surveillance photos believing these are the men behind the crimes. The man from our story says he recognizes the man in the white hood. This is on west avenue between 8th and 9th streets. Nobody was hurt and firefighters believe the house is vacant. A home also went up in flames in bedford. No one was hurt but look at the home. It is a complete loss here. The flames are so intense firefighters had to request help from another community to knock the flames down. Crews are still trying to figure out what started it. Sunday service at United Methodist church in universi circle canceled. Crews were cleaning up the sanctuary after a heavy fire there. Heavy smoke causing extensive damage. No one was hurt. In Summit County a man is at the hospital for setting himself on fire at akron square. He is 69 and a vietnam veteran who was dressed in a in a reason corps uniform. Witnesses say he was at the coffee shop ranting about post election trump protests, then he went outside and doused extinguisher and put the flames out. This morning the roads to youngstown are back open. Look at this. Icy roads causing a massive 40 car pile up on state route 11 southbound before 5 00 last night. He was holding a pellet gun that looked like the real thing. Now tamirs mother is saying educate is still hard for her saying it is still hard for her and her family to move forward. She struggled with anger and frustration because no one has been held accountable to the death. The only reason she agreed to the 6 million settlement instead of going to trial is because the judge said the money could help her and her family. Reporter terrence, police tell us at least 17 cars have been stolen on the citys west side in the last three weeks, with the majority of them happening just this past week. We spoke to two victims exclusively and both of them tell us they feared for their lives. This woman who was too afraid to show her face said it night. She felt like she was being followed home so she started driving downside streets until she got to a relatives house on nicholas avenue. When she pulled out she told the 8 and 11yearold to get out and run inside. Two men then walked up and pointed a gun in her face and told her to get of the car. It is something i never expected. I have been here countless time, all kinds of times of nothing like this has ever happened. Reporter now, luckily she didnt get hurt in this incident and police were able to recover her car, but they say the men they believe are responsible are still out there this morning. And in florida a fourth shooting when an officer was shot during a traffic stop late last night. The suspect ran into neighborhood in sanibel, forcing police to put the neighborhood on lockdown. The man was arrested after a shootout and the officer was treated and released from the hospital. We are learning new information about the wildfire that burned about 25acres over the weekend.
