Well, it certainly looks bad, amy, because we are now seeing what seems to be a history of violent and abusive behavior starting with the 2009 assault on rihanna. He did serve many, many years of probation, approximately six years, that probation was lifted in march of 2015 just last year but only after he violated that probation for assaulting someone in a washington, d. C. Hotel in and over and over again when it comes to chris brown and that is not a good place to be in the criminal justice system. We see recidivism very, very often when it comes to violent and abusive behavior so yet now another complaint about this kind of behavior is going to be looked at very, very closely by prosecutors reviewing the case. Speaking of seeing chris brown we saw a lot of him throughout this on these instagram rants. What do you make of those and you know, i think prosecutors are going to look at it. Lets be clear. He hasnt been formally charged yet. His arraignment is going to be september 20th. I did reach out to his attorney my good friend mark geragos who says these allegations are completely false. But i think that its very fascinating that social media is possibly going to be used as evidence in this case or at least reviewed by prosecutor, not only did chris brown the ray jay was in the home and posted on instagram saying this was false then the alleged victim also posted on instagram indicating that this was true. I think theres this legal is going to be closed. Right now theyre going to tie to close that, i understand lawmakers in that state just passed a new measure in hopes of addressing cases just like this one. Tell us about it. Thats right. What is remarkable is that under california law, up until this time, amy, you could rape, sexually assault an unconscious person and not have a mandatory prison sentence.
