Alex we know the first indication that something was wrong was a call from a neighbor, a 911 call just before midnight. That neighbor reported seeing flames coming out of a window of this house. That is according to the battalion chief out here. Just looking at the house now, you can see the damage. Its badly burned top is blackened by soot. Windows here are shadowed shattered. Fire fighters did come out here to try it respond to here. That is the point when things took a turn. Deputies also responding to this say they saw a man then heard a popping sound. That man then they found dead. The Volusia CountySherrifs Office says at this point his death appears to be a suicide but they say they are investigating all circumstances. Also being investigated of course is this fire. No one was in the house when Fire Fighters arrived. The battalion chief on scene says the fire marshal is looking into possible arson. It is not clear how the man who deputies found dead may have been connected to the fire but it delayed Fire Fighters work to get the flames out. They still were able to get them out quickly and 20 of the home was lost but that battalion chief we to said it canning fixed. Still a lot of questions we need to get answered. They claim he was bitten by a snake in Animal Kingdom and that led to a death in the family.
