Jim Orlando Police make an arrest in a downtown shooting. It happened earlier this week. Police say adam manaiza got into a fight with another man on wednesday night and shot him twice. The man was shot in both legs and is expected to be ok. It happened in a parking lot near the back booth nightclub. Manaiza is facing charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Virus has been diagnosed in Orange County. It s one of 59 cases in the state. This is a map showing the counties impacted. All but one of the cases are travelrelated. Earlier this week Health Officials say some contracted the virus in polk county, through sex. A deland woman says she accepted a ride from a man this morning, and was raped. She told police she was walking near the shadeland Mobile Home Park when a man pulled his car pulled up and invited her in. The Woman Told Police he drove her to the 700 block of east New Hampshire avenue and assaulted her. She managed to escape. Michelle according to investigators, a man was attacked at this bar in hunter s creek, and it left him so injured, he s got brain trauma. It happened earlier this month at tavern on the creek, a night parkway. Investigators say it started when the suspect allegedly groped a woman who had just arrived with two male friends. Deputies say one friend confronted the suspect outside the bar. Then when the woman and her second friend, sebastian valencia, came outside to help. Jane as soon as the man walks outside, he is sucker punched, and as he is trying to recover from being hit in the head, then kicked. He was brutally beaten. Michelle less than a month ago, a gator s dockside in hunter s creek was robbed at gun point, the assistant manager shot. A suspect was arrested within hours. You re innocent . Everyone seems pretty close, a tightknit community. It is not something you would expect to hear here. Investigators believe the victim will survive, however jane he had to be hospitalized. He s got a brain bleed and brain trauma, and the hospital is watching him to make sure his condition does not worsen. Jim right now, Orange County sheriff s deputies are looking for the man who shot another man outside a gas station. This happened just before noon at the citgo station on north Orange Blossom trail near cinderland parkway. The victim was shot in the stomach and rushed to the hospital. Tonight there is no word on his condition. Deputies say the shooter ran off toward the john young parkway. So far, no word on a motive or suspects. Angela tonight investigators want to know why a person was walking on train tracks when he was hit and killed in volusia county. Holly Hill Police Say a freight 6th street around 8 00 this morning. M. , police say a motorcycle and car collided on north nova road. This was the aftermath. Both caught fire. The rider, from South Carolina was thrown off his bike. , he was trapped under the car and dragged about 75 feet. People who saw the crash helped pull the biker from the burning wreckage.
