Ronnie damon s body was found in the front yard of his home in ocala on january 6. Investigators say he was working on his car when he was shot. For weeks, his death was only called suspicious. So far there s no word on any stewart also late breaking in s deputies now say that an ocala woman, who was found dead in her home on northwest highway 225a earlier this week, was the victim of a Home Invasion robbery. Investigators believe someone broke into Tamara Bedenbaugh s home, killed her, and then made off with her jewelry. Bedenbaugh was known to wear a gold necklace, earrings, and a wedding band. So far those items have not been recovered. Now to that brutal Home Invasion in osceola county. Sheriff s deputies say they re looking for a group of men who forced their way into a home, tied up and robbed a man his , girlfriend, and her daughter. It happened yesterday in st. Matt mike jones is worried for his kids safety after deputies say his neighbors on rachel lin lane were broken into and held at gunpoint for more than six hours. I feel sorry for the family. Matt jones didn t see anything but investigators say four men, forced their way inside thursday afternoon, tying up a high school girl, her mother s boyfriend, and later her mother when she came home. They were held at gunpoint until the suspects left around 1 00 a. M. , taking money and the male victim with them. Police found him five miles away, here, at the intersection of rummell road, tied up, in the back seat of his girlfriend s car. He d been beaten up and was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The family is very upset by the incident. The boyfriend is recovering from his injury. Matt the mother and daughter were not hurt during the ordeal. Right now it s unclear how the suspects got inside the east lake reserve gated community but investigators tell me this was not a random act. We re not releasing specifically the information that they have, but it appears these victims were targeted. Matt investigators are reviewing video from surveillance cameras searching for any clues. Orange county Sheriff Deputies and members of their marine unit were called to this area on Shelburn Court off oak ridge road. A body was found in Lake Jessamine in south Orange County. Flight 370 disappeared without a trace in march of 2014 with 239 people on board. Nissan is recalling nearly 930,000 altimas, some of which are being recalled for a third time. It s to fix a hood latch problem that could allow the hood to fly open while the car is moving. Nissan says paint can flake off the hood latch, exposing bare metal, and over time, the latch can rust and cause the secondary hood latch to remain open. The new recall involves altimas from the 2013 to 2015 model years. Nissan will notify owners and replace the hood latches for free starting in midfebruary. Stewart i think my mom has that car. Claire two pitbulls from this home on yule tree drive in edgewater were confiscated this week after investigators say the dogs mauled a cat that later died. Officials say the same dogs got out last month and killed a cat and may have attacked a horse. M sorry it happened. Claire travis pogg says he regrets that two of his family s dogs, rocky and junior, pictured here, attacked and killed his neighbor s cats, including donna gard s, whose pet was on the front porch. He had a broken sternum and broken bones, internal injuries because the two pulling him in opposite directions. Claire pogg admits the dogs have repeatedly gotten loose, slipping out a screen door. He thinks they need to run, and there s no place to do it at home, but he doesn t think the dogs intent was to kill, just that the animals don t know their own strength. Travis pogg they are good dogs. They are like most dogs, they see something run, they see a cat, they want to chase it. Claire but the dogs did more than chase. An incident involving a horse is still under investigation, but city Officials Say the dogs are on record going after cats. Each case is handled on an individual basis, but in the event of these dogs, they ve had two incidents where they have bitten household pets. The man accused of slashing a s throat was set to plead guilty this morning, but changed his mind. Douglas reed is charged with attacking the woman inside her Orange County home back in july. When he stood up to speak, he d decided against the plea. The judge set a february 12th hearing date to determine if reed can change his plea at the last minute. We re learning new information about a disney security guard, who was busted for allegedly trying to steal cash from a hotel room. Take a look at edward cespedes. In a sting operation at the wyndham Lake Buena Vista hotel. Home. Undercover deputies put 500 on a nightstand, and say they saw cespedes take it. They launched a sting after the hotel reported that 10,000 has been reported missing, in 20 thefts over the last year. Cespedes has only been charged with the theft that was caught on camera. Dan the elderly victim was here she was approached by the scammer who said she needed a ride to the courthouse and did not know the way. An accomplice, pretending to be a stranger, approached and said she knew the way, she convinced car. Once in the car, the con artist pulled out a lottery ticket, just any old lottery tickets, but she said it was the winning s an illegal alien. Mike pusatere they even made a call from the car to the lottery a Winning Ticket. And a male voice on the phone said the ticket was worth 480,000. Dan the accomplice, still pretending to be a stranger, said we need to help the winner. I have 19,000 i can give. The victim said she could chip in 20,000 and got that amount in cash from home. Once back at winn dixie, the victim went inside with what she s that was the Winning Ticket to redeem it, but which it came out into handed, the scammers were nowhere to be found. Mike pusatere they preyed on her because she is trusting. Dan the scammers were not smart enough not to go inside and get caught by sick security cameras. It s spread by mosquitoes, and as we told you last night, the plan is to release more mosquitoes into the impacted areas. Researchers have developed a modified insect, which mates with the infected mosquitos, and kills their young. We can ship these very easily re treating the mosquito and trying to remove the mosquito with our technology. Angela Central Florida could get a new museum if eatonville s mayor gets his way. This morning, mayor Anthony Grant unveiled plans for an 8 million, 124,000 square foot African American museum.
