Chris but jack and Jody Lemaster say when kia didn t get along with their other dogs, they gave her to a neighbor who lives just across the golf course they live on in palm coast. Jody lemaster the deal was, if he ever needed to get rid of her for any reason, he was to bring her back to us. Jack lemaster i just wish i kept the dog. Chris the lemaster s claim weeks later, the neighbor sent this startling picture to a family friend. Kia was in a bathtub, surrounded by blood, suffering from what appears to be two gunshot wins. Wounds. Jack lemaster he would not answer my calls. He wouldn t answer me. Chris fast forward to a few weeks later, a bizzare find on the side of the road, about a mile and a half from the family s home the dog s body, surrounded by a shrine, including dozens of these sugar packets and a statue of st. Francis of assisi, the patron saint of animals. Devastating that someone can be that inhumane. Chris according to incident reports, the Flagler CountySheriff S Office interviewed a man, but would not confirm to wesh 2 if it was lemaster s neighbor who was in charge of taking care of the puppy. The family tells us they haven t been able to get in touch with him. The Sheriff S Office tells wesh 2 it is still trying to figure out the cause of death of the puppy and if a crime occurred, also saying, we do not want to prematurely release details. Jim a 6yearold girl in sanford shoots and kills herself with a gun she finds under the couch. It s just the latest local accidental shooting involving a young child. There were nearly accidental 2000 shootings across the country last year. There have already been five in florida in the past two months, including three in Central Florida. Investigators say the loaded pistol was actually underneath a couch near where she was playing. She was rushed to the hospital, but could not be saved. As a result, williams was arrested, the Police Report specifically pointing out, he did not keep the firearm in a securely locked box or container or have a trigger lock engaged. Now, this is not williams first time being arrested. He actually has a pretty extensive arrest record in Seminole County, according to the county s clerk of courts. That list includes arrests for driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding a Law Enforcement officer, drug posession with intent to sell, reckless driving, grand theft cocaine, and posession of a firearm by a convicted felon, a charge that he is now facing once again, along with a count of child neglect and unsafe storage of a firearm. Held here at the Seminole County jail without bond. His First Court Appearance is set tomorrow afternoon at 1 30. Jim tonight, we re hearing the 911 calls made in a deadly policeinvolved shooting in Brevard County. Palm bay police say they had to open fire on a man who was threatening to shoot them. Officers gathered outside the home in large numbers, after a 911 operator told them a man was threatening to shoot people, including police. That massive Law Enforcement presence surrounded the home. He keeps hollering that he s gonna get his gun and shoot all of us. That is it . Call the cops, he says. Call the cops. Call the cops. I don t care. I ll shoot them, too. Meredith one day after a little boy fell into a local canal crews were replacing the fence , around the canal near Riverside Elementary School in Orange County. 8yearold Shamore Franklin fell from a pipe, 10 feet into the water below. He says if they were fixed, it may have prevented his son, or other kids from accessing an area they aren t allowed to enter. Cell phone video shows the burning suv just moments after it slammed into the east bound side of the Enterprise Road overpass. The man driving could not escape.
