Two separate snow systems have triggered blinding snowstorms that have led to several deadly pileups in several states. The heavy snow whiteout conditions and subzero temperatures are expected to last throughout the weekend. As snow plows got to work in upstate new york crews in ohio vehicles involved in a major pileup along interstate 90. Pretty aggravated about it, you know, im trying to get home. Its cold in this weather. Reporter the Chain Reaction crash that injured more than a dozen people was one of many triggered thursday by a lake effect snowstorm that brought whiteout conditions to the midwest. In michigan cars and semis were seen smashed together in a deadly pile up along i involving 40 vehicles. There are three confirmed we have not yet identified those victims. 11 other victims were transported from the scene.
