Michele,police say that fight happened last night after two women thought another woman walked too close to them. Thats when police say they attacked her sending the 27 yearold victim to the hospital. The suspects then fled the scene in a blue dodge intrepid leading police on a high speed chase through brown deer and south into milwaukee. Police ended that chase after about two miles due to safety license plate of that car, 531kxn but it comes back stolen making this a difficult investigation moving forward. As it was a stolen vehicle, we dont know who was driving, and who the occupants were. Hopefully walmart has some good surveillance video, and were able to identity the suspects that way. Way. One of those cities 8thousand homes that were affected by Service Lines that had lead. Part of the issue is half the service line is owned by the city, while half is on private property, meaning homeowners had also had to split the bill. In an effort to bring down costs, the city of madison rented out its water towers to phone companies for cell phone towers. That allowed the city to offer rebates to homeowners to help cover some of the costs for the Service Lines. It does not cover any costs for lead pipes in the home. While its not clear if milwaukee will that route, Task Force Members say looking at what other cities have and havent done, could be an advantage for the c. City. Since they werent practicing Erosion Control treatment, they didnt ave that extra protection of passivating the pipes. In milwaukee we will continue to be doing the Erosion Control treatments.
