Last week, the Common Council unveiled a safety plan to add 280 officers. He says he doesnt think that number is realistic. And that voters should have a say in the tax increase that comes with it. This has been the scene for about 3 hours while officers the Salvation Army was out here and tells us the car was part of a funeral procession, on its way to the cemetery. According to police, a 23year old man, who has not been identified, was shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers say two other men were shot and are believed to have nonlife threatening injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital. The chaplin with the Salvation Army was consoling witnesses of the incident here at the scene, and as a local pastor and Community Member he says this is just he things need to change. Harold l.
