A captain with the Elkhorn Police Department Tells us a suspicious looking pipe was brought to the attention of fair security last night just a few hours before the end of the fair. It turns out it was just a pair of drum sticks. The Kenosha County Sheriffs Office bomb squad was called in to help with the investigation. The Walworth County Sheriffs Office and the Elkhorn Police worked the fair board to clear fair goers from the grounds. The all clear was given after 10 the board decided . Not . To reopen the fair for the remaining 45 minutes. One fair vendor tells us hes impressed with w well everything was handled by police. There was a lot of concern but in terms of panic or chaos situatin was handled well, the police and security dept did good w geting people out safely. It s like pushing. It gets worse on black friday than it was today today 3 this morning i checked the Walworth County fair facebook page. It looks like if you were at the fair yesterday and have a wristband for carnival rides you can return today for two hours of free rides. Jess . 3 a 17year old is facing charges in a deadly crash in milwaukee. T 15yearold boys. Boys. A criminal complaint states. Donte barnes was driving up to 80miles an hour. When he lost contol of his car. His car hit a tree and split in half near 35th and keefe friday night. Two passengers died. Barnes and a third passenger survived. The four were all related. The milwaukee man who eaded guilty to raping an 82yearold woman robinson attacked the woman last summer after she got off a bus on milwaukees north side.
