I tend to have a bias toward people being governor as being good president , so my inclination is for john kasich. Donald trump is capturing a lot of attention and he is very optimistic. He says outrageous things, but he wakes up every day as an optimist. He is not a pessimistic later. I like the optimism that he brings, and the enthusiasm, and he is responding to the frustration of america, which Bernie Sanders response to on the other side. He is kind of telling it like it is, we are not happy, we are frustrated. I am a little afraid of him because i do not see how he can deliver on his promising. Being the president is very different from being the ceo of a ceo is a dictator and the president of the United States is more like a governor. Ed because you are talking about donald trump, he is the front one or and still attacking anyone who questions him. This week, trump tweeted this, and i m quoting here mitt romney, who was one of the dumbest and worst candidates in the history of republican politics, is now pushing me on tax returns. Dope. That s in response to romney raising questions about trump s tax return. What do you think of that temperament . Andrew i do not like that temperament and i cannot imagine it as a president. You want people around the president that will speak truth to power. I am a witness to that. I had to speak truth to power and it is a tough thing to do. If you think you could be fired, i do not like that temperament. Having said that, i think the American People are frustrated and he is a way for us to vent frustration. If he wins the republican nomination, i do think you will recognize the responsibility not only to lead a ticket to lead a ticket that can be successful. Ed do you think he is electable . Andrew he is proving to be electable in the republican primary process, which is a surprise to me. The democratic nominee will probably be very bruised by the time they get through the process, much more than people have anticipated. It was Kennedy Hillary and jeb. Andrew democrats agreed with that strategy when other president were in office. This is not an unusual debate to have and there have been many times were the democrats said to a republican president , do not nominate somebody in the last year of your presidency. This is not an unusual expectation for congress or the president to have. You have a much better chance of a nominee being confirmed during prior to the last year of your presidency. Let s see what the American People think about the president. This is a lifetime appointment, so i think it is best to take ed but the president years. Andrew he can exercise his right and congress has a responsibility to say whether or not they want to consider it. Some of the democrats, even joe biden is saying, you better do this. Of the remaining candidates, who benefits most in terms of the other Republican Leaders . Mary anne it does not matter. The race is over. Trump has the nomination. Support. Come close. It is over. Trump is leading the outsiders, cruise is trying to get the conservative vote, and rubio is trying to marshall there were support of the establishment. I think trump has the most expandable group of voters. Has an 80 delegate lead. When he do president ial politics, that is insurmountable. Ed mathematically, a little over two weeks, this issue could be crystal clear. Eric now that we are moving out of february, it is less about who finished second and third, it is who can amass the delegates needed to win the nomination.
