Bob the question of the day for patriot fans would Rob Gronkowski fly to houston with his teammates therefore keeping hope alive that he ll play tomorrow against the texans. Answer yes, yes, gronk made the trip to houston. He remains questionable for the Game Tomorrow Night which means the patriots believe his chances of playing are 5050. Gronk suffered a bone bruise and sprain to his right knee against the broncos. The patriots lost that game and they lost the eagles game, which gronk didn t play and that gives is. Always wish we could have these kind of talks whenever we went, whether it is jules or cronk gronk. Bob more from the patriots and matinee performance at the garden coming up in sports. This is still the first time he has taken erect shots at the texas senator. If anybody else gets elected, i just think it is going to be a disaster. Gloria the race is heating up with just 51 days left until the iowa caucuses. Now your storm forecast with meteorologist Danielle Vollmar. Danielle it was a warm december day, feeling more like mid april instead of middecember. The vineyard saw 61, boston checked in at 60, and bedford checked in at 60 as well. It is running well above where we should be. This is going to continue into the rest of the weekend and even but temperatures tomorrow are going to drop. Notice it is worcester. We have a cold front turning the winds and that is going to bring in a not only cooler weather, but more clouds as we head through the day tomorrow. It looks like this, cloudy and cooler for your sunday, we are tracking some muchneeded rain on monday, and that will go from late monday night and into early tuesday. The mild temperatures are going to continue over the next couple of days. You can see it out there right now holding on, in boston, worcester, springfield, but cooler up in concord at 51 degrees, so that cold front has made its way there. It will be into the 30 s for the meramec valley, low 40 s in worcester, low 40 s in boston, nantucket. It will be a mostly cloudy night, we are not expecting much in the way of fog. In terms of cloud cover, you notice that by 5 00, it is pretty much there, and because we have a north wind, this could make an impact, especially on the cape and islands, if anything at all. Mostly through the day, it will be a mostly cloudy day, the wind will be coming off of the water, so it will feel a little bit cooler tomorrow. But still, it is mild by the december standards. We should be in the mid 40 s. 50 boston 50 for boston tomorrow and at the cape. Our next storm system is up to the west and there is a warm front associated with it. Warm air is going to make its way back in on monday and even into tuesday. Those rain chances are on the way, especially as we get towards monday night. On tuesday, because it will be so warm, we will have some gusty wind and we may even see or hear some thunder with this because it is going to be so warm as the system approaches. Let me map this after you on monday in terms of the rain. We may have some patchy drizzle, but that is really about it. That will slowly crawl over our range and we will have gusty downpours. We may get an inch, to an inch and a half in some spots. It is breezy entry mild on tuesday with temperatures still in the upper 50 s. Then that cooler air works its way in at we are back in two the upper 40 s on thursday and friday and finally on saturday, we feel more like winter. I am meteorologist Danielle Vollmar. Now sportscenter 5 with bob halloran. Bob h. today spoon fed, and tuukka rask led ryan spooner with a pair of goals, but it s rask who appears to have returned to form. 60and2 in his last eight starts, another solid outing at the garden this afternoon as the b s beat the panthers, 31. Nothing happening midway through the first period until this happens torey krug takes the errant pass at the point, flips the puck on net and spooner deflects it home for his sixth goal of the year. Spooner back in the right spot in the Second Period b s on the power play. Bergeron feeds him and spooner snaps one off from the dot, 20, bruins. Third period shutout still in tact but former Bruin Reilly Smith with a hard slapper past rask so, now we ve got a 1goal game with six minutes to go. But the bruins hold on and add an empty netter from brad marchand. B s now 81and2 in their last 11 games. 31, the final today. And we wanted to show you this from last night s kingspenguins game during the shootout, kings goalie jonathan quick, is just that he s quick but he s also pretty, pretty, pretty fancy. He stops that one with a behindtheback glove save. Rob gronkowski is in houston tomorrow night. Definitely making the texans think he might play and therefore making the texans spend time preparing for him. So, it s a winwin for the patriots. Either he plays or the texans wasted time gameplanning for him. Gronk is still listed as questionable, so it ll be a game time decision whether he plays. He only missed one game with a bone bruise and sprain to his right knee. So a return this soon is a bit unexpected, but he may be ready to give it a go. Romeo and belichick, for never was a story of more woe than this, of belichick and his romeo. Belichick and Romeo Crennel won rings patriots and also coached together in cleveland. Wherefore art thou now, romeo . With the texans so while parting is such sweet sorrow they will be together again when it be morrow. Paraphrasing a little bill shakespeare for you while Bill Belichick gets his team ready five of the texans coaches have worked with or played for belichick but crennel the texans defensive coordinator and belichick go back over 30 years. He does a great job. I love working with him. He has coached defensive teams, he has a lot of experience. Bob h. it feels like last night s celtics warriors game is worth another look just an outstanding effort from the celtics taking the undefeated defending champions to Double Overtime kelly olynyk came up with a big effort of a season high 28 points but that wasn t enough to get his coach to gush. He made plays, you know, and he did them against trayvon, center. That is what we need him to do. Bob h. the celtics will be getting underway in less than an hour in charlotte we ll have those highlights tonight at pam coming up new at 11 00, and recover praise in protest from boston to around the world at the Climate Change agreement. And at 6 30, it s abc s world news with cecilia vega. Good evening, pam and bob, the historic climate deal. So why is tonight filled with protest . A phil oh no. under his breath hey man t hey peter. unenthusiastic oh. Ha ha ha joanne . Is that you . Its me. P you dont look a day over 70. Am i right . R jingle jingle. If youre peter pan, you stay young forever. Its what you do. If you want to save fifteen percent or more on car insurance, you switch to geico. You make me feel so young. Its what you do. You make me feel danielle all right, nice today, nice tomorrow, a little bit cooler tomorrow. But still, not bad, decemberwise. We will have anywhere to half an inch to an inch of rain in the overnight, and it will be windy. Bob
