Well, when you top it off, its been since 1961 that duke won a bowl game, i mean, its amazing. I cannot tell you the emotions that im watching our guys, im almost speechless. Paul coach, you made it to and in the fourth quarter, the games got away from you. How did you close this one out . You know, its our seniors. They never, never, never quit believing. A lot of courage, it wasnt all perfect. It wasnt all pretty, but you know what it is . One big, fat w. Paul coach, look over there. Whats going through your mind right now . Im loving our seniors. Could not be prouder, paul, and i think a lot of people got entertained with a lot of good football. Also have to say, im pretty amazed at indiana and the job theyve done and the skill they have on offense and the way they can execute. Pretty special. Paul thank you, coach. Congratulations. You have a very strong opinion about what just happened there. It looks luke, well, it could be close, it would be over, because if its over, doesnt matter. But i want to see this camera angle from underneath the goal post. Because it if it is unnortheast look at this. To me i dont know. That looks like thats on the inside. It definitely looks like, from that angle, that ball snuck in. But if you are the reason they wouldnt review it it didnt go over. In the ball is ruled to have been too high, then they cannot review it to see whether or not it was inside or not, which seems to be sort of a strange interpretation of the rules, but you would think that, you just want to get it right. You got what you wanted here. A lot of scoring, a lot of overtime football game. I think this is why you watch the bowl games. Games. Look at David Cutcliffe. How happy this duke Football Team is. Hes done a terrific job coaching duke, but this is his first bowl win. Its dukes first bowl win since the 1961 cotton bowl. And for David Cutcliffe, hes taken duke to new heights. Three years in a row, but he finally got his first bowl win. Kids, as well. And you can bet, back at the campus, all the kids at duke are doing a dance and people at indiana are a little bit upset. Happen. So, it really is a great moment for them. Its like winning a National Championship on this given day. Now, frank beamer, we know, is one of the alltime great this will be his final game ever as head coach at Virginia Tech. Greg stroeman takes this back and goes 67 yards. This is the type of game, this one has been for frank beamer. Looks like hes celebrating like the games over. This is far from over, the way the offense has been playing. Virginia tech has been amazing, putting up 45 points in the first half. But the key is, they did it with beamer ball, also. That punt return, that actually puts a stamp on this for frank beamer. For his team to score on special teams, thats very special for him, if they can win this game. Thats one of the things well remember about frank beamer is beamer ball and his great special teams. But boy, what hes meant, not just to the community at Virginia Tech, especially when they went through the tragedy, the gun shooting on campus, but just what a leader he has been to that entire xun ty ty.
