Reporter when deputies from the Charles CountySheriffs Office arrived only the chevys driver and a 19yearold passenger had managed to escape after his car slammed into a tree and burst into flames. I started hearing citizens yelling theres kids in the car. Theres kids in the car. It changes everything drastically. Reporter with the babies swaddled in their arms the officers racing to treat their critical injuries while officers string into action. One firefighter removing his oxygen mask offering it to the woman pinned inside struggling to breathe. Sheriff troy berry says this kind of bravery is what helpe people in that car. The driver and the woman pinged inside that woman are still in the hospital but they are expected to be okay. The beas and the other woman in the car were released from the hospital.
