Comes as the police chief unveils a new program to target criminals. The program is called pivot. And it uses data to target the specific hot spots for crime. Crime. A crime meeting with the chief and city manager is underway. Ashley. What are they telling people there tonight . The police chief says guns in the community is what keeps him up at night. The Department Plans to focus on violent locations in the city. For the next several hours people at this meeting will have a chance to give their input. nats of stop the killing. Stop the shooting. Violence has gone up there 21 percent in the last five years. Years. Meanwhile people in avondale along reading road say theyve already seen the progress from targeted patrols.
