This morning the latest chapter in europes growing migrant crisis is playing out in hungary. Thousands of desperate migrants are pushing and shoving their way into budapests main train station as police ended their blockade. The terminal was shut to the migrants since tuesday preventing them from boarding other trains to parts of europe. Charlie dagata joins us by phone from the budapest station. Charlie, were looking at the pictures. Its certainly a chaotic scene. Whats the latest there . Reporter it is chaos. What happened is there were hundreds standing there. Now, at the first opportunity, they ran into the train station that theyve been locked out of for a couple of days and they started jumping on train, one in particular, which they believe, is headed to germany. Nobody here is telling them that it is going to germany. Nobodys telling them where its going at all. We went onto the train itself and started speaking to people. Theyre desperate to know. In fact, there arent any International Trains leaving from here. Their biggest concern for the people on the strap by the way, its extraordinarily sweltering inside that train. Its difficult for the elderly and so many Young Children on the stain. Theyre afraid theyre going to be put in Holding Camps and that theyll have to register. Theyre worried by it that potentially theyre being tricked, tricking into getting onto this train in the hope that its an internationally bound train and theyll be taken to a cam top be processed. Charlie, what are the migrants saying on that train . Reporter again, theyre asking me where theyre going. Youre talking about tiny babies. Theyve been here for a week or more. So theyre thinking, well, whatever the situation is, we cant stay here any longer. I asked one man. I said if theyre taking you to a camp, would that be better than this. He said, yes, if thats my fate, i have to go there. I cant be here any longer. Theyve waited so long to get on any train. No matter where its going, theyre going to stay on that one in the hopes that its better than this. A dramatic and heartwrenching scene. Thank you. Three men remain on the run this morning. The search for the men expanded overnight in the area near the small town of fox lake but officials admit theyre not sure the suspects are still in the area. The county clerk in kentucky who refuses to issue marriage licenses to samesex couples will be in court today facing contempt charges.
