Just hours after hoboken officials announced they had repaired last weeks water main break that flooded the streets here in hoboken, this happened here on monroe street, and it was just after midnight, and an 8inch break in the water main here on monroe street, we have seen crews out here for hours, and the good news, the water has receded quite a bit, but still, 100 households are wake up with dry taps. Reporter once again the water is bubbling from the streets of hoboken after another water main break in the city overnight. This time the rupture happening just after midnight on the citys south side. The police block the access to the road as the crews for the Water Company are working to make repairs. Its just hours after the hoboken officials announced they fixed a break in a 24inch water main and a 36inch valve less than half a mile away. The disruption lasted a week, flooding streets, leaving frustrated business and homeowners without water for days. Its frustrated. Its hard. Reporter this break is much smaller, but still an inconvenience for those affected. Now with suez water still here, monroe is shut down from 1st to 2nd streets, and residents will be without water until the repairs are completed.
