There are nearby a and c trains as well as m3 and m100 buses. Police charging 36yearold Joseph Danclair with Second Degree murder. Chrissy bevelaqua was killed inside the Manhattan Broadway Hotel in midtown last tuesday. Investigators say that danclair may have spent time with another woman found dead in a Bushwick Hotel in july. Murder charges in that case are expected later tonight. Yonkers police say an overnight shooting that left a local sports hero in extremely Critical Condition was not a random crime. 23yearold Michael Nolan was shot in the head and the arm at the burger king parking lot on Central Avenue overnight. Reporter emily was tubing in the waters off Greenwich Point park last summer the propeller of their tow boat operated by a 16yearold struck and killed emily and seriously injured another the accident inspired the family to fight for the passage of emilys law. The bill signed today by Governor Dannel Malloy raises the minimum age to tow in connecticut from 13 to 16 and requires a towing safety course be completed before a safety boating certificate can be issued. When i read about emilys accident, her passing, it was moving. But i could not have imagined in that early coverage of what your strength would bring out of that tragic event. Reporter the family has started a foundation in emilys name. They were giving out bracelets today in her memory. Despite all their pain, they would like to continue to bring meaning to all this. They wanted to promote safe boating laws across the country. Our daughter is really been with us every step.
