Cbs 2s cindy hsu has more from the newsroom. Reporter authorities arrested the remaining fugitive suspect in last novembers deadly terror attacks in paris. Investigators are trying to determine whether that suspect is also the socalled man in the hat from the Brussels Airport bombing. This afternoon, Mohamed Abrini was arrested. Reporter 31yearold Mohamed Abrini was first caught on Surveillance Video traveling in this black car with paris attacker Salah Abdeslam just two days before the last novembers attacks. He has been on the run ever since. But on friday, authorities confirmed they got him. The investigation into paris attacks has shown that Mohamed Abrini and Salah Abdeslam were [ indiscernible ] sometime before the attacks. Reporter abrini was a childhood friend of abdeslam and is believed to have spent time in syria last summer and had ties to the mastermind of the paris attacks. Police sources believe abrini man in the hat seen escaping Brussels Airport shortly after bombs rocked the departure gate. The arrest comes a day after belgian prosecutors released new Surveillance Video of the airport suspect fleeing the scene. Belgian Officials Say along with abrini, Police Arrested several suspects wanted in connection to last months brussels attacks that killed 32 people. Investigators say osama kay another suspect arrested today was seen with the brussels attack. He was also found on Surveillance Video in the Shopping Mall where bombs purchased. Two people were killed on a Texas Air Force base in an apparent murdersuicide. Commander. It happened at joint base San Antonio Lackland where the air force conducts basic training. Authorities say the two bodies were found inside a building used for classrooms. The base was locked down for two hours. Community we have some one offs and thats what i would consider this, a one off. It is not a terrorism situation. It is an active shooter situation. And the investigation will make the determination as to what really occurred. Officials at the base say two guns were found near the bodies. The guns reportedly belonged to the shooter. Authorities are withholding the names of the two men until their families are notified. A tourist from israel is the latest slashing victim in the subway. He was attacked and robbed. Cbs 2s ali bauman is live in Greenwich Village with the story. Reporter yeah, police have been here all day, investigators still searching for who slashed an israeli tourist on this subway platform in the earlymorning hours. Dressed in hasidic clothing, police say the 55yearold israeli victim was lost in the bleecker street subway station traveling from brooklyn to visit friends in the diamond district. Police say the victim fell and when he awoke at 3 30 a. M. , it was to a slashing attack. The suspect cutting his neck, arm and hands several times before running off with cash. If its past 11 00 i try not to take it anymore because i am scared of being slashed, which is sad. Reporter this man and his friend is who police say found the victim bleeding after the attack and helped put pressure on his wounds until they were able to flag down a patrol car. Police say the victim only speaks yiddish. Im not from new york. So when i got here, you kind of learn to stay on your toes, keep your eyes open. Reporter this is not the first slashing at this stop. In january a 71yearold woman was slashed leave a 4 gash on her face. Neighbors are scared to get on the subway. Because its happened before. At this point nothing is done about it. So its going to keep happening until they either amp up security or they find whoever this is. Not sure if its one or many i do live around here. They were hopeful that within time, he wouldnt have so much problems eating. Reporter in january 2014, 5yearold garnett was taken again to a hospital. He was admitted with seizure like symptoms. Later during that hospital stay, garnett is in distress. Stops breathing. And tests showed high levels of sodium which caused his brain to, as well. This is my 5yearold son on life support. Reporter two days later, garnett is officially declared dead. Doctors could not figure out how garnetts sodium level had gotten so high unless someone had given him salt. Cbs 2s cindy hsu has the story. Reporter 41yearold Tyrita Julius disappeared march 8. Today Police Community in tinton falls where she was last seen. She had been spending time with a female friend and was reportedly dropped off at the long branch train station around 7 p. M. But video at the station has that report. And its not believed she boarded a train that night. Her family wearing shirts saying team tyrita made a desperate plea to whoever knows something and is holding back. Directed to you. And you know who you are. In a moment of being upset, we can at times react and do something that we instantly regret. Reporter just five months. Ago she and her daughter were shot in linden right to the front windshield of their car. Police believe tyrita was the target. They recovered but the gunman was never found. Police say there is no definite connection between the shooting and the womans investigating. Police say tyrita is about 57, 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing this shirt with a basketball on it. She also has scarring on her shooting. She has the word love tatooed on her. She has a symbol of rosary beads on her leg. And also a tattoo of a butterfly.
