Here in jerusalem, he will see the city that is most visible, the most visible symbol of the conflict, a place of flashpoint of violencviolence, a divided m jerusalem, a place of significance to jews and christians. He will be visiting the church of the holy sepulcher, the place that some christians believe jesus was intombed. And he will visit the western wall, the wailing wall. And the president will meet with benjamin netanyahu. They will dine with the Prime Minister and his wife. A west bank visit to meet with Palestinian Leader mahmoud abbas, as well, as is an address at the israeli museum. He will be shadowed in his Campaign Pledge to move the embassy from tel aviv to jerusalem. But hes been persuaded to hold off on that pledge. It would be seen as an endorsement of israels claim, in a place regarded as disputed territory. But its worth watching to see if he makes comments here. A busy couple of days, lester. Today, National Correspondent craig melvin is traveling with the outspoken ambassador and sat down with her exclusively about that and other issues facing the Trump Administration. It was a deadly weekend on the worlds highest mountain top. Three people died trying to climb mt. Everest. Mana among them, a doctor from alabama. This morning, his family is speaking out. Kelly cobiella has that story. Good morning. Reporter such a sad story. Theres a Record Number of climbers on everest this climbing season. That season ends in just nine days. And the race to the top has proved deadly for this doctor and dad from alabama. The view from the top of the world, everest at 29,000 feet. For 50yearold roland yearwood, loving father, doctor and adventurer, his ultimate goal and his second try to reach the summit. He was extremely prepared for this. He was confident that, you know, he was going to reach the top and come back down and come back home. Reporter yearwood was on the mountain in 2017 when a devastating earthquake shook nepal and everest, killing at least 19 climbers and sherpas. He wanted to work even harder to go back up there. Thats all he thought about and wanted to do. Reporter on sunday, yearwood made it to the infamous death zone. At 27,500 feet, within reach of a nearly vertical section, known as the hillary step. The final climb to the top, where every breath and every move is a struggle. Climbers said the earthquake shook part of the rock face loose. Add to that, bad weather and a Record Number of climbers. A lot of climbers have been waiting at base camp. When you have traffic jams up in the death zone, thats never good. Reporter its not clear if yearwood reached the summit or why he department make it back. His daughter said he died of altitude sickness, his body still on the mountain. He was really honest. Really kind, a generous person. I was lucky to have him as a dad. He gets to be in the place he wanted to, you know, accomplish his goal. Thats where its going to be forever. Reporter yearwoods sherpa was able to make it off of the mountain. He will make it to base camp. And the family is hoping the guide will shed light on what happened on sunday. Two other climbers, one from slovakia, one from australia, died on the mountain on sunday. And a third, a climber from india, is still missing this morning. Savannah, willie . It happened all right here. The little girl that was grabbed by the sea lion has not been identified. Witnesses say her family ran away before asking for help. But before the scare of a lifetime. A day on the warf, popular with tourists, begins with laughs. But suddenly turns to panic and fear. A terrifying close call with a massive sea lion, that yanked a little girl off of a pier and pulled her under water. The girl was rescued by a man who jumped in after her. Both pulled to safety. Im a little terrified of that thing now. Reporter michael captured the attack on his cell phone. Pretty dangerous. It look s cute and all. Reporter his video shows the sea lion eating a piece of bread someone dropped in the water. A man held out his hand as if trying to pet the animal. And then, the sea lion, weighing up to 700 pounds shoots out of the water, within inches of the girl. The crowd laughs nervously, but no one moves the child away from the edge. Seconds later, this the warfs harbor master says this should be a warning to never feed or approach sea lions. Total stupidity on the part of adults. They let their little girl sit on the edge of the dock, with her back to it, and her dress hanging over. Reporter these tourists didnt hear the message. Getting another scare in the exact same spot. See lions rarely attack humans but similar incidents have been posted online, involving fish. Dont go to the dock and throw crocker e crackers at a s lion. Reporter a close call with a powerful creature that could have quickly turned deadly. While sea lions and their pups look friendly, the bites are powerful and can be dangerous because they have so much bacteria in their mouths. The bottom line here, never approach wild animals. I need to know what happens in the last few episodes. I mentioned its the third and final season. Do you feel like youre ready to put a bow on this show . It ends in a good place. And im not happy that it ended. But im glad it ended where it did because it ended strong. And i like that about shows when they dont push too far. Theyll still ask the audience to want a little bit more. But it doesnt go too far. And its a good show. Its a strong show. Im proud of it. It would be impossible in a minute or so to recap and get people ready that havent seen the first two seasons. For people dialling in, its on netflix. What is the show about . The show is about a fally who is loaded down with a tremendous amount of dark secrets. And as the show goes on from the very beginning, the secrets are revealed. One thing that you have to know about the show is that the creators of the show, the kessler brothers and daniel zelman, they create ed a show they did damages before this. And damages, theres a lot of reveals and a lot of what they do with the editing that makes it interesting to watch. And its a nonlinear process when they edit it. They mix it up to do the story telling. I never know watching the final season, uh wont know exactly how it came out. And because we we do different scenes in different ways, where we rehearse in different ways, we act them out in different ways, we tonight know what take theyll use. The storylines and the story can change and we wont know until we view it. You starred on friday night lig lights here. Did that make sense to you .
