And i dont know what they did in that case. Im not aware and not involved in studying it. Theres investigations under way. If it turns out that general flynn lied on his paperwork for that application, or if he continued to work for a foreign interest while he was the National Security adviser, he may have committed a felony. And it will fall on your department to decide whether to prosecute him or let him go. You have already recused yourself from investigations involving any coordination between Trump Associates and russian officials. Does that recusal extend to this area . To general flynn . My recusal deals with the campaign issues. But i would expect not to be involved in this one. You would recuse yourself from any decision dealing with general flynn . I dont know if theres an investigation or should be. And we dont confirm investigations in the department of justice. Real quickly, his Attorney Says hes got a story to tell. And theyved asked for immunity to exchange for testifying. Will he be given immunitimmunit . Well see. The people to decide that will be the people to decide this. But carrying out the approaches and going through the minutia and the congress and all of the problems we have to execute change in america, is a real challenge. I have to go back to school to be retrained to find something to support our family. They dont know what that struggle is like. You know, i would like to see at the 100day mark that ground has been broken on this new plant or they started looking at hiring. Reporter do you see enough news and information about his efforts on jobs . Probably not. But i think theres a lot bigger, hotter topics right now, between syria and korea and all of that. Reporter do you think that donald trump can win erie again if he doesnt do something noticeable to the economy in erie . I think it will be a lot tougher for him because erie is a hardworking community. We dont have jobs to work hard at. And something to be proud of. Hell be called out on it, for sure. I love this town. I dont want to leave it if i can help it. We need the jobs. We need the industry back. I need to know that erie can survive. So, you know, we talk about trumps voters. We lump a lot of them into categories. But what i have found in erie, more than anywhere else, this was a vote made out of pain, out of desperation and out of what may seem to us, like fanciful hope. But they bet the house on donald trump. And when i spend time with them, i hope for them that they were right. Yeah. What i would tell my younger self about having anxiety is that as ive gotten older, ive learned how to manage it with so many tools that have led to me living a pretty normal and exciting and vibrant life. I would tell my inner self to squeeze my dog tightly and to read a book and to meditate and to breathe and understand im not alone. Sometimes you feel so dark and you isolate. And you question yourself. And you think, what did i do to feel like this . Its a chemical imbalance. Having anxiety might be indicative of other beneficial, positive characteristics. One great thing about being dyslexic, you tend to focus like a laser beam. You find something you can do well, you go right there to become successful. Im an actor, a comedian and a judge and i got a lot of Mental Health issues. Since ive spoken out about it, i have coping skills and im doing well. Dont be quiet. Tell people. Talk to your mother. Talk to a teacher. Talk to your best friend. Once i found that it was okay to talk to somebody and seek help, that has changed my life forever. And now, im able to live life to its fullest. When you look at the numbers, its really astounding. 17 million children in our country have a Mental Health disorder. What kinds of disorders . Were talking about the fact this is the most common illnesses of childhood adolescence. Someone knows and loves these children. If its not your son or daughter, its your niece or nephew. Its autism, adhd, depression, obsessive compulsion disorder. All psychiatric illness, occurs before age 4 and before 14. Thats when you should identify and treat it. If i have a symptom for ten years, much harder to treat than a symptom thats six months old. Back to the numbers is it that theyve increased or that were more aware of them . Were Getting Better identification. And were starting to do more science. The more science we do, the more we recognize that its about the brain and not about your parenting. You know, you can get angry that your parents gave you bad jeans. But its not the way your mother works or didnt work. Or your father and mother got divorced. Its the fact that certain kids are more vulnerable than others. Lets talk about the news. The series, 13 reasons why. A lot of young teens are watching it. Its premised on a teens suicide. I know you have strong feelings whether teenagers should be watching this or all. 90 of all of the teenagers who commit suicide have a psychiatric disorder. And thats 5,000 teenagers this year. And 600,000, one every 2 1 2 minutes, will make an attempt that leads to the emergency room. That means that this show should be pulled off the air immediately. Teenage suicide is contagious. We know for over three decades that when kids watch television where they depict a suicide, theyre more likely to attempt and theyre more likely to actually suicide. The problem with 13 reasons is that it shows you that when youre in trouble as a teenager, there is no help, youre hopeless. And that suicide is glamorous and effective. Thats not the message we want them to have. We want the message that my younger self gives. These are prominent people that say, when i spoke up, i got help, i can have a great life. It takes pollen, which is harmless. But it gets in your eyes and your nose, and your immune system goes on the attack. Thats what causes the similar thomas. The itchy, watery eyes, congestion, runny nose. You have two camps. The people that suffer from allergies and those that dont. Is it the luck of the draw . It is the luck of the draw. Theres interesting science. Kids that you up on farms, less likely to get allergies and asthma. And the thought is, we live such clean lives that our immune systems are not exposed to as many germs. And the immune system is always on the lookout of things concerning to it. If youre not exposed to germs, youre more than likely to have allergies. Is it possible to take steps and do things to prevent the symptoms from coming in the first place . It is. This is what i tell people. If you can avoid the allergen, youre going to win. Youre outside, wear big sunglasses. When you get home, go ahead and shut the doors and windows. Run your air conditioning with a good air filter. Vacuum regularly this time of year. Personal hygiene is crazy. If you get home, put the clothes in the wash. And a lot of people forget to wash their hair. And they lay on the pillow and sleep in the pollen. Not much of a problem for me. Im one of the people that never had allergies until age 45 and then, they kick in. Is that common . Its not uncommon. And theres no rhyme or reason. Or sometimes people move to a new location and theres an allergen in the air that bothers them. Youve gone through the symptoms, the clothes washing, taking a shower, the air felters. A lot of times you get to this season and think, do i have a cold . Or is this an allergy . How do you know the difference . Sadly, sometimes it can be both at the same time. The biggest difference is, with allergies, youre talking about itchy, watery eyes. If you have a clear discharge, its really thin. A cold should be selflimiting in a week or two. Youre going to have the mucus buildup. Treat them differently or the same . The good news is a cold will go away on its own. What i say with allergies, you want to take control of your allergies before they take control of you. Theres ways to diminish the effects of allergens these days. A lot of medications. You see the commercials and the magazines, the ads are in there. When do you know you need to see a doctor and not just work with something youre getting over the counter . You feel like allergies or you think theyre allergies and theyre controlling your life, id go see your doctor. The great thing is now, if you see an allergist, they can put a game plan in place. A lot of overthecounter treatments, antihistamines, nasal steroids. If you figure out whats causing your symptoms, this is one thing in medicine were effective at, treating allergies. Known to millions as the woman with terminal cancer who wrote a love letter in the New York Times, for jason, her husband of 26 years. Thats the love story i got to witness my whole life. Reporter amys letter took readers through their love and the cancer diagnosis that would claim her life just days later. A wife, a mother of three, also a bestselling author of more than 30 Childrens Books and two memoirs. I have not lived to tell. I have not witnessed the extraordinary. This is my story. You look like alfalfa. From the little rascals. Lets do this dish. Now, they turn the monitors off. Its pretty bad. This is comboing a chicken caesar salad with angel hair pasta. Get it . All of the good loving goes in here. Chicken, bacon, pasta, croutons. In here, salt, pepper, take krubed chicken breast, about a pound or so. This is a fun dish to make. This is extra garlicy. Garlic salt and garlic and garlic powder. I have a can of olive oil. Sheinelle cant even look at me. Because its so amazing . Bad. The food is great. Just the hair. In the pan here with olive oil is the garlic and the chicken. You will cook this about five or six minutes until its golden brown. You take it here all the way cooked. You could put scallops in here. You can mix up a lot of it. You want to do lobster, get fantfan fancy. I couldnt put bacon in the cookies, i put it in this dare. You cook about six pieces of bacon. You chop them up. And you take the bacon love. Add onion. Add fresh tine. Saute that for five or six minutes. Once its sauteed, you will add chicken stock. Add cream. And chicken caesar, caesar dressing from the jar. Once thats in there, mix, mix, mix. Have it come to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, it looks oh, my gosh. Whoops. Were going to cook the spatula. The spatula is in the dish. So, you take this. Now, you take the chicken, the bacon and the parsley. Then, you take this guy right here. You strain your angel hair pa a pasta. Once this is all mixed, you take that and mix these bad boys together. Heres a trick. A lot of people didnt know. Once al roker takes 15 minutes to mix this yes. You take cheese. This is parmesan. This is the pasta water. You put a lid on. Dont fuss with it dont mess with it. How long do you leave it . About a minute or two and a beer. Once youre done, the cheese hits on top. You get the cheese thats melted . It allows it to come together. Once it comes all together, mr. Roker, i cant take myself serious because i cant see my hair. Angel hair pasta caesar. You take the croutons from a packet go on top. Bacon and parsley go on top of this. And you have one of the most fun, inventive, different dishes. You go online you said this is a far stretch. But this is a shortbread get it, jenna .
