Some in and out showers possible in the morning and afternoon. And a final round likely early this evening. Look south and what you see over Sussex County, we still have heavy pockets of rain, but this is in the southeast most corner of Sussex County and then some edging along cape may, as well. No thunderstorms to see there, just steady rain. Our temperatures are ranging depending on who saw the heavier rains. 68 in mount holly, trenton. Low 70s for philadelphia, but 75 in vineland. Were at 70 in wilmington and also 75 in Atlantic City. So we have the temperatures that are starting out in the 60s, low mid70s. As we get into the afternoon, we will make it back to the 80s, but it wont be one of the hot days because of the rain that moves throughout. Here are the headlines as we move forward. This Morning Police are looking for the shooter who wounded one person and sparked fear among shoppers at a philadelphia target store. Randy gyllenhaal is live with the latest on this investigation. Reporter police say this started as some sort of fight or confrontation between a group of men, one of them the man police here are searching for is accused of pulls outing out a gd firing five shots in that busy target parking lot. One person was shot in the back and rushed to the hospital. Police arrived and locked down the entire store as the s. W. A. T. Team searched for the gunman. Outside car windows were hit by bullets and shoppers were ducking for cover. I heard about i think three or four shots went off and people started running and screaming. Everybody started running in the back. I grabbed my mom. This little kid wasnt even mine and i was trying to protect her. Chaotic scene. The victim is expected to survive. At last check, authorities are still looking for that suspect who was seen fleeing in a red hyundai. Randy gyllenhaal, nbc 10 news. This morning were learning a philadelphia man shot and killed by police suffered from Mental Health problems. That is according to his family. The man shot is 31yearold tyrease carlyle. Investigators say his aunt called 911 claiming carlyle was stealing her car and that he wasnt in the right state of mind. When police responded, there was a scuffle. According to witnesses, carlyle grabbed two of the officers guns. Police say thats why they fired. She called police for help. Thats it, not for them to harm, but to help her. Because when you got a mental issues, you need somebody to help you. No officers were hurt during the incident. The suspect in a main line murder is still on the loose nearly two weeks after the killing and some are wondering why he was free in the first place. John lee was shot and killed on his way to a friends apartment. The suspect derrick rolands faces murder and several other charges. Records show he was released from jail last november after two Police Officers failed to show up and testify at his trial in a gun case. The department is conducting an internal review. New this morning, a philadelphia family is out of their house after an overnight fire. Crews were called to ox ford circle just after 1 00 and they were able to quickly put out the flames. Later today, we are expecting a possible response from north korea after a Third Straight day of warnings from President Trump. The warnings follow repeated Nuclear Threats by the north. Yesterday the president tweeted the u. S. Military is locked and loaded and warned of severe consequences if north korea makes good on its threat to fire missiles towards guam. Pentagon Officials Say so far they have not moved in any new hardware. They say the region is already armed with missiles, b1 bochlers, Navy Destroyers and submarines. Scattered showers and storms are possible as we get into the afternoon hours. This is at 3 30 p. M. But its not a washout forecast. Then overnight, a line of thunderstorms is starting to form through this is about 7 00 p. M. In berks county. And i think 8 00, 9 00, that will start to weaken. So by sunday morning, we will start to see more sunshine break through with temperatures again right around the mid80s. He reunited with the officer. His mom says doctors never thought he would walk again. And not only is he walking, hes running. Hes not wheelchair bound anymore, hes walking on his own, you know.
