The good news is, were now on the tail end of the system, as it start t area. So this morning, still some sprinkles out there, as you drive through. Start to your morning, youre going to notice, its kin gets windshield. And weve got this line here of some light rain thats going to this whole system starts to rotate on out. The goodrs morning hours. As we get later into the day, i s mostly cloudy, we will dry out. Heres the wider view. So still some rain this morning, but look farther along to the west, still clouds, but for the most part, the rain will have come to an end, meaning, if you have plans today,nd y do them, just not going to be a washout day like yesterday. Ill zoom in and show you what is left of this seen. Emergency crews wrapping up here. Neighbors say they heard the collapse early this morning. One neighbor telling us they even heard the victim screaming from the collapsed home. The 59yearold victim taken to Presbyterian Hospital in stablel into the street on to some nearby cars. Neighbors called 911. O even call for a crane to help clear the debris. Its unclear right now why the home collapsed, but often during this springtime in philadelphia, we do see these structural issues inside some of the older homes, especially after some wet weather like we had last night. We were working to get more details from authorities here on scene, but again, that row home collapsing overnight. At this point, one person taken to the hospital. Police describe the victim who was shot in the head as a man in his late 20s to early 30s. Another shooting in north philly street just e to the corner of after 2 00 this morning. Investigators there tell us a man shot in the leg somehow managed to walk to Temple University hospital. Were working to find out more possible victims. This weekend, loved polnee searching for answers in the stabbing of a couple. Yesterday, a manead d and his f critically wounded at their home in point breeze. Nbc 10 was on south 1 last night where police were still gathering evidence from the crime scene. Investigators say someone stand the husband and wife multiple times. The wife is dead. A friend of the victims tells us she ran into the couples son just hours before he made the discovery. We hugged and he asked how my family was doing, and i said, how was his family, and that was it. When you seen him, you seen her. They always together, always happy. Its heartbreaking. Its heartbreaking. Reporter police say it does not appear that there was a breakin at the house. The husband remains in critical condition. The gunman wanted for shooting into the parking lot of delilahs club in philadelphia is now under arrest in camden county. Lawrence mitchell is facing weapons and fugitive charges in south jersey. He soon could be extradited to philadelphia to face more charges. Mitchell is accused of opening fire from an upper floor window of a building under construction in Northern Liberties on monday night. The bulletsuck the dlelilahs lot. Nobody was hurt. The area that is shut down will take months to repair and is one of the busiest in america. Used by 225,000 vehicles every day. Its going to take months for them to fix it, which is going to take a lot of patience. Reporter the mayor is calling it a transportation crisis. The governor declaring a state of emergency. Now three people are in custody, one charged with criminal damage to property, the others with criminal trespass. The three are believed to be homeless and charges could be evaluated as the investigation continues. The fire started under the bridge at a lock site, used to store noncombustible construction material, including coils of plastic. It does not ignite. It takes something to cause Something Like that to burn. It is a highdensity plastic that is noncombustible. Just yesterday, a judge approved the agreement in which President Trump will pay 25 million to people who sued him over his nowdefunct real estate course. The decision ended nearly seven years of legal battles. Customers claim they were misled by trumps promises to learn success in real estate. The president has maintained he did nothing wrong. Lawyers say the students should get at least 90 of their money back. For now, the Senate Intelligence committee is rejecting a request for immunity in exchange for testimony from former National Security adviser, mike flynn. Just starting to move into areas like berks county, into chester county. Also, parts of berks and chester into New Castle County saw some of the highest totals above 2 inches of rain yesterday. So, anything that moves through, not a necessity at this point. In fact, we did see some of those street flooding zones, those areas that are more prone to flooding, because when youve got nonstop rain for a whole day, its going to happen. The good news is, this is going to move through and things really do taper off. Well stay cloudy, but i dont expect rain as we get into the afternoon. So, theres a look at your neighborhoods right now. Looks like were actually checking in on the rain totals, and as i mentioned, overnight, we did not see rain amounts pumped in, because we really started to see everything break down. The amounts that are expected as we go through the day are actually going to be zero. Much better than yesterday, but youre going to still have the ponding out there. Youre also still going to have to deal with those wet spots on roadways. Just take it slow this morning, and in areas farther north, you might have to worry about some slick spots along your roads, particularly if youre getting up into the poconos areas, because thats where we are seeing just a little freezing rain falling this morning.
