Now it was colder earlier in the work week right after that snowstorm passed through last tuesday but this is still a cold week for us as we go through saturdaysunday. Temperatures will remain below average even in the afternoon. Radar and satellite here, a wider view to show off scattered system is passing by. Set up nothing impressive. Few flakes north of philly. Light rain south of philly. Mixing near parts of philadelphia county. Overall this wont be too impressive of a morning or afternoon when it comes to precipitation. Nonetheless heres the look of the level where we started to see flakes make it to the surface. Drops to doylestown as well. Changing to rain near philly. As we drop further to the south what will happen is were seeing mostly just green on radar. Thats because its light rain at that point. Temperatures are too warm to support any snow through today. What were looking at as we go through sunday is a bit of a change, possibly cool for us to see flakes mixing in. Well track that out. Nbc news confirms a shooting death at an Palm Beach International airport in paris. A man described as a suspect was shot dead at one of the terminals while he was trying to take a weapon from a soldier on patrol. Evacuation is under way at the scene. There are no other injuries reported. The shooting follows a similar incident last month louvre museum. In philadelphia a man is under arrest accused of assaulting another man inside this house in hunting park. Nbc 10 was on the scene ownewnn jerome street. Also new this morning a man and woman are in the hospital after their pick up truck hit a utility pole. The accident happened on frankfurt avenue after 2 00 this morning. The man was thrown from the truck. Rescue crews had to remove the woman. You see her being wheeled to an ambulance. Were working out to find out the victims condition. A followup story you saw first on nbc 10. Septa police tell us they plan to charge students who started this fight that was caught on cell phone video at the vine street station. Septa police say they have names of potential suspects and increased number of officers is now on duty during after school hours trying to deter fights and other disturbances. The brawl happened on thursday. This man said he was trying to stop snowballs from being thrown at other kids when he became a target. My son was helpless. He was defeated and still kick him like he was an animal on the ground. When youre getting jumped you have to stay calm and just cover your face. Septa Police Telling us the kids involved in starting the fight could face felony charges. This morning, one man is in custody after a deadly hitandrun in pottstown, montgomery county. He is now charged in connection with the crash that killed a man two weeks ago. Investigators said he hit the man with his pickup truck on pottstown pike. He then tried to sell that truck a day later. Police are looking for this man. A woman told investigators that he exposed himself and performed a lewd act inside the Chester County library in exton wednesday night. The suspect was wearing a black shirt and hat. If you know anything about the case give police a call. You could be paying more to ride septa later this year. Transit agency is proposing a hike that would raise prices on all fares. A single ride cash fare would go up from 225 to 2. 50. A monthly pass would jump to 95. If approved the changes would go into effect on july 1st. Hearings will start next month.
