The case will be held later today in harrisburg. Mcginty is running against pat toomey. And new information this morning in the bridgegate scandal in north jersey. Six School Districts from across the state, parent and Communities Group filed a lawsuit claiming the department of education failed to give School Children the resources this he need. Two of the parents in the case have children who attend philadelphia schools. Famili faculty members at pennsylvanias 14 state universities are calling for a strike. According to the union, more than 90 of its faculty members have voted to authorize a strike. The unions president says the strike remains a last resort and they wont set a date until after fridays negotiation session. Residents says the Lower Merion School district is hiking taxes when they already have millions. The judge ordered the School District to rework its spending plan and limit the amount of the tax hike. Recently four campuses in the philadelphia area of Itt Technical Institute, a forprofit College Chain suddenly closed. Weve learned the federal Education Department ban itt from enrolling new students receiving federal aid because Officials Say itt became a risk not only for taxpayers but students. In our area there are about 4,000 displaced students. Today theyre being invited to enroll in a tenweek term at ccp. We did some digging to find out what students can do if theyre in debt because of college loans. Theres something called the closed School Discharge in which they can get their existing loans wiped away and start over at another school. Reporter now win also found out through Reading Materials this morning that itt has set aside 90 million to cover forgiven loans. Thats according to the wall street journal. All traffic moving into center city, we just found an accident scene in our cameras here. It is blocking off the righthand shoulder. One lane getting by on the schuylkill expressway right now. Thats moving toward the city. Thats one of our biggest times anyway right now. Right approaching the 6 30 or so hour where we start to see the big delays. A lot of Police Officers there on the scene as well. One lane moving by on the schuylkill, well start to see major delays behind that. On the westbound side, traffic is moving along. We dont see any real gaper delay yet. This may also have a truck involved. Well keep our eyes on it for you. Ill have some of the drive times when i come back. This accident scene is not as much of a big deal on 95 right now. Southbound, just around 420 and in between ridley park. This general area headed southbound. They have this waiting over here. It looks like were seeing westbound delay, maybe a little bit of gaper delay moving by the scene. 49 minutes if youre headed eastbound. This drive time is typically a 12minute trip or so from the blue route to the vine street expressway. Now at 49 minutes. With the roads completely shut down, well see increases there. You saw a lot of police, a lot of activity at the scene of broad street and west park avenue. But as you can see behind me, traffic is moving once again. All of that has been cleaned up. Police left the scene here about an hour ago. Take a look at some video here from the ground that we shot within the past few hours. This crash happened around 10 00 last night. Two vehicles involved. One of them overturned. Four people were rushed to the hospital. No confirmation of any fatalities but a relative of one of the victims did stop by here overnight to briefly talk with police and then left. Police on the scene. There were a lot of them here. They were not talking about what happened. Referring us to a spokesperson who has not yet returned our calls. As we take another live look, you see this 7eleven across the street, less than a block away. A worker here says right before the crash he saw a police car going by very fast along broad street, then he heard the crash and a lot more Police Showed up a few minutes later. Thats pretty much all we know at this point. Those cars have been taken away. They crashed into a utility pole and crews were here for a few hours cleaning that up. State police say the boys father, Nicholas Wiley was the only other person at the house at the time of the shooting. The boys father is being questioned by police. Bubble wrap is what likely triggered a lockdown at Valley Forge Military Academy. Officials say an Eastern University student in an apartment across the street from the Valley Forge Military Academy reported hearing what she thought was the sound of gun shots yesterday evening. Police put Valley Forge Military Academy on lockdown as they searched the buildings, they didnt find victims or evidence of a shooting. Right now septa slowdown, 18 repaired trains are pulled from service after a new defect is found. Over the weekend, inspectors say they found a design problem with the newly designed cars. The rail cars will be repaired and put back in service sometime this week. 120 Regional Rail cars were pulled from service in july to fix a structural flaw that caused delays for commuters.
