A man walked into the north American Motor Lodge on city avenue in wynnefield heights, held up the clerk and got about 400 in cash. The crammer was armed, they are still searching the surrounding area. They believe the man was righting at any the property. The search is on for two men who tied up, pistol whipped and robbed a man in his home. One of the men was last seen at a wawa. What can you tell us . Reporter were told the suspect did not do a good job of blending in when he last appeared at this wawa along delsy drive. Were told by police he was soaking wet and asking trainingers for a wide. The man in the wawa was the one who began to surrender at the scene but then volted. The two men are accused of dying up a 42yearold man inside his apartment and beating him as well as robbing him. A neighbor saw the victim after. He was banged up pretty bad, his ear was split in half. He had multiple blows knew the showed he had like almost looked like holes in his head. The victim was air lifted to the hospital. Were told he has not been able to return home since. Happening today Kathleen Kane will face a judge surrounding the second set of perjury charges against her. Kane is accused of leaking secret grand jury material to a reporter and then lying about it. A judge suspended her law license. A Senate Committee met for the first time to determine whether kane can be attorney general, whether she can do her job without having a law license. The committee could recommend the senate street remove her. The recommendation is due by thanksgiving. Today a judge will sentence a man who pleaded guilty in the murder of Police Officer moses walker. Chancy mcfarland took a plea deal in exchange for his defendant against jones. Officer walker was off duty on his way to a bus stop in north philadelphia when jones and mcfarland try to rob him. Jones shot and kills the officer. In june the judge sentenced him to prison without parole. The officer was a 19year veteran of the force. A man confessed to hitting a 9yearold and leaving the boy to dry. They were able to give police a description of the vehicle. Police say 22yearold royce atkins was driving when he hit and killed condash. Police got more than 100 tips that led them to atkins home where they found his slate blue mazda with damage to it. They caught up with him working at a car dealership. Admitted to striking the boy and leaving the scene. I really hope they knows that he took a big part of our family away from uls. Investigators say at kinsey could face 10 years in prison and 25,000 fine. Hes currently locked up in the Northampton County jail. They got what they wanted in their fight for the School President to resign. Chris is live to explain the racial tensions that led up to the turmoil. You can bet College President s across the country have taken note over what happened in columbia, missouri. The past week or so. The university of missouri president tim wolfe seemed to be choking back tears as he announced his resignation. He took responsibility for the schools poor handling of recent racial incidents on campus. Prompting this reaction from the black Student Group at the center of the protests. Minority students say they were victims of racial insults on campus in several incidents in columbia and last month someone smeared human feces to form a swastika on a dorm wall. Students on the Football Team refused to play until wolf retired or resigned. The head coach backed them up. Students say they are glad he stepped down and hope that change will truly come. I think its a long time overdue. I think there has been a lot of racial tensions and im glad that something has finally been done. I dont think its for us or anybody to question what these students say that they are going through. The grat watt s graduates responded to the resignation by tweeting that he is ending a Hunger Strike now.
