Some of the septa workers have been here all day and night trying to figure out what caused the trains to crash into each other yesterday morning. Even with all this activity, septa says service will be running pretty much like it normally does, just with a few cars less than they normally have. This was a slow moving crash yesterday morning around 8 00 in the morning, but it was enough to injure four people. One train operator was critically injured and the impact also knocked a third train out of the service. Trains were not in service at the time. Didnt have any passengers, but it did have an effect on traffic and service in the area for a good part of the day. Sech septa has been dealing with a rough few months. Most recently trains on the market. Frankford line itself this month. Management said it wont speculate how long the investigation will take, but did ensure us the trains are safe for passengers. We take tremendous pride in knowing we run a safe operation. And goal every day is to bring back and forth in the same condition they boarded. Reporter septa says an electronic signaling system would have stopped this collision, but as you can see, the investigation and work continues at this hour. Investigator trying to figure out what led to this accident that tied up traffic on the northeast extension of the pennsylvania turnpike overnight. This happened in the northbound lanes in plymouth just after midnight. Two people hurt. Both in critical condition. Are expected to survive. Police are still investigationing a crash in northeast philadelphia. Car got a flat tire yesterday afternoon. Pulled over so her fiance could change her tire. Car rearended them injuring her twins and fiance. High School Teacher at the jersey shore was charged with having a sexual relationship with a 17yearold student. State Police Arrested 32yearold William Jacobs in florida. Investigator say the relationship with the student began in november and ended just last month. Police say they found hundreds of electronic messages between the two. In delaware, New Castle County police are looking at Surveillance Video as they try to find the man wanted if for two kidnappings over the last week. Both attacks happened at apartment complexes.
