We were there as two men and a woman were taken into custody. Police say after the stop on alden street the pursuit continued to the schuylkill expressway. Police put out an apb on the car that was spotted on montgomery and belmont. And then another pursuit on monument road. No one was injured. Of course, were trying to get more details this morning on why the car was stopped in the first place. Again, there was that initial report of shots fired in the area. Someone had gotten out of that car. Four people left in that vehicle. All told, there were five people in custody this morning and being questioned. At southwest detectives. Authorities say plain clothes officers saw two men leaving what they call a known drug house last night. One man ran from the officers and pointed a gun at them. The officer shot him. Hes in critical but stable condition. The second man is in custody this morning. As youre about to witness, these students here in haverford are in awe to meet their overseas friend and person. They were also excited to hear the stories they shared and see the artwork she brought. Hello. Reporter its a meeting months in the making. Nice to meet you, too. Hi, everybody. Reporter the first time these fourth graders met her was over skype. She was in greece in a small room surrounded by young syrian refugees. Theyre amazing. Theyre amazing. Theyve gone through a lot, but theyre really, really happy. And their very lovely. Reporter tara is a humanitarian living just outside of a large refugee camp in greece. She and young refugees began skyping with the class last year, after she teamed up with one of the kids mom who runs a nonprofit. For the first visit, shes brought art created by kids in hopes to raising money for their families. We give to them. Reporter thats about 22. The Young Artists then give the money to their mothers who buy food for their families. I like this one. I really like this one. And this one. Reporter some of the students families have contributed to the cause even buy something of the art. Most of the paintings are inspired by the treacherous journey made out of syria. Its so good. I want to give the children a way to escape living in a camp. To give them a better environment.
