New Jersey Transit released video that shows the moment two buses collided in newark inc august killing two and injuring more than a dozen others. People were screaming, crying, getting up off the bus. He flew by me like he was driving on the highway. Thats how fast he was going. Nj transit said its investigating the crash. Happening today, Montgomery County residents will learn the latest about the eighthing and crumbling sewer system in cheltenham. One option on the table is selling the 120mile underground system. As you can imagine, a lot of people are interested to hear the proposed solutions for the sewage problem, especially the home owners. Township officials are actually going to be having that meeting here at the high school to accommodate the large crowd thats expected to attend later this evening. The sewer Collection System thats currently being used is nearly 100 years old and the township told us back in may that getting the system up to state standards could cost as much as 80 million. The township could sell off 120 miles of the pipes it owns but the aging infrastructure will cost home owners as well. Officials say that home owners could be looking at a 10,000 bill to reconnect to the new system depending on the property. Residents are going to be listening for more information on that as well as what the options are for the township to repair its own pipes. Over the years, officials here in cheltenham say its taken multiple steps to address the aging pipes. But theyve been fined by the department of Environmental Protection which now has mandated that the sewer system must be replaced. Township wide off falling behind runoff and overflow standards. Earlier this month, East Greenville voted to break away from the Upper Perkiomen Police department and form its own force to save money. They are responsible for East Greenville and pennsburg. Last night, the East GreenvilleCouncil Passed a motion to bring in a mediator to help resolve the issue. The mayor of East Greenville says a shared police force is placing too heavy a tax burden on the community. Based on the ability pennsburg favors expanding the current department. New details in the investigation into the man accused of thec bombings in ne york and new jersey. Fbi director james comey says theres no evidence ahmad rahami is part of a larger terror cell. Rahami was taken into custody, youll remember, after a shootout. Hes accused of detonating bombs in chelsea and seaside park. A second bomb in chelsea did not explode. Rahami as sister now says the bombing suspect was violent with his own family in the past. She claims rahami attempted to hit her with a dumb bell and stabbed his brother who came to her aid in 2014.
