We are following reports of an accident on 76 westbound. This is in the king of prussia area right where you meet up with route 202 and 422. There is a ramp restriction. Im trying to get more information about specifically what ramp it affects. Theres very little traffic in that area. It shouldnt do anything more than slow you down a bit. No delays reported in that area. Taking a look at your drive times in pennsylvania, 95, the schuylkill expressway, and the blue route, everything in the green right here. There are no crashes to report or no construction thats slowing you down. New from overnight, police are looking for the person who shot a man four times in north philadelphia. They were called to north boveer and york streets where they found the victim bleeding on the sidewalk. Hes in Critical Condition but expected to survive. Theres a camera in the area and police are look fog see if it recorded the shooting. Today in dallas be with the Funeral Services begin for the five Police Officers who were killed after being ambushed about i a snipe by a sniper this is happening after president obama spoke in dallas and addressed the nation after the tragedy. Thousands of people joined them fromc Law Enforcement to members of the public. It is the 11th time president obama travelled to comfort a city after a mass shooting. There were five empty chairs with folded flags at the service yesterday that represented the fallen. Obama offered praise for Police Officers but also addressed racial bias in the criminal justice system. Those comments got mixed reactions from those in attendance. The Dallas Police chief he received a standing ovation and he spoke directly to the families of the slain officers. He also talked about the sacrifice those officers made for their community. Theres no greater love than this. That these five men gave their li lives for all of us. Now, today, Funeral Services for the officers will begin. That will happen over the next four days. Also today, the president will be holding a meeting at the white house. He will talk about ways to repair the bonds of trust between Law Enforcement and the communities they serve. The woman convicted in the 2014 Center City Gay bashing attack is out of jail this morning on parole. Nick youd like to say to the victims . Kathryn knott stayed quiet as she was released from jail yesterday. She served the minimum five months of her five to tenmonth sentence. Knot will stay on parole for the remainder of that sentence and begin two years probation. The 2014 attack on a gay couple in center city left them with facial cuts, bruises and broken bones. Two other defendants in the case took plea deals. Philadelphia District AttorneySeth Williams said the victims of the attack were made aware of knots parole but did not object to it. A community is remembering a teen killed earlier this week. Hundreds of people gathered for a vigil in tribute to barnes last night. The boys parents were joined by faith leaders near the park where barnes was shot on monday night. Investigators say the 15yearold was walking with friends after a basketball game near 60th and baltimore when they were ambushed. Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument over the outcome of a game last week. The teens mother has a message for her sons killer. Whoever did it, they know. Theyre cowards, bums. According to Court Documents just released,c former footbal coach joe paterno allegedly knew about the abuse since 1976 and did nothing. The judge unsealed hundreds of documents from a lawsuit between penn state and its insurer. John doe claimed he told paterno about the incident in 1976 the very next day but paterno says he didnt want to hear about it. Before paterno died in 2012, he said he first heard of accusations against sandusky in 2001. Another revelation comes from an outside expert who released the settlements paid to those paid by penn state. That expert found the payments appeared to be very high and showed a desire to resolve the issue quickly. However, a lawyer who reviewed the cases said it was an objective process and none of the claims were easy to resolve. Penn state paid out 92 million to settle 32 civil claims against sandusky. 5 08. As the fight against the heroin epidemic intensifies, a new report shows cocaine and fentanyl are also claiming more lives. Heroin was used in more than half of the overdoses. The Family Living inside started noticing cracks in the walls over the weekend. And then early tuesday morning, Denise Wheeler woke up to a noise over her bed. I heard stuff falling. I looked at the wall, the crack in the wall, instead of being small, it opened up. I saw the brook inside the wall separating. The family rushed outside. A few hours later, the house collapsed. No one was hurt. The family is getting help from the red cross. Plea suspects are in custody in baton rouge and police are looking for a fourth after investigators say the fourth threatened to kill Police Officers during protests. Heres a look at two of the suspects under arrest. The third is 17 years old. Police say the men stole eight guns and a bb rifle from a pawn shop on saturday. When Police Arrested the suspects they allegedly told officers they were going to use the weapons to shoot police durings ins baton rouge. A group of nearly 30 kids from the temple of Brotherly Love Church took to the streets, their pastor thought it would be a good way and good idea to teach them they can turn to police for help. The police then headed to police headquarters. Children are more observant than we think. Hopefully it will inspire them to do better. One of the four members of the group the tenors singing the Canadian National anthem changed a verse to include the verse all lives matter. Thec phrase has become a commo response to the black lives matter movement. The tenors blamed the change on that singer alone and called his actions disrespectful and shameful. Four offduty Police Officers working the Minnesota Lynx game walked off the job because of the players actions. They wore these jerseys. Players also denounced the senseless ambush of Dallas Police. The lynx Team Released a statement saying while our players message mourn the loss of life due to last weeks shootings, we respect the right of those individual officers to express their own beliefs in their own way.
