A child sleeping in a car when it was stolen is found safe. Katy zachry is live at the 711 where this started. What do we know about this . Reporter really such a fortunate ending to a story. For an hour investigators did not know what was going to happen. One of their big concerns was the frigid temperatures overnight and this morning because this little boy who was missing suffers from asthma. They were worried that whoever stole the vehicle with the boy inside might just leave him out in the cold. Fortunately, though, that did not happen. Here is the little boy as the Police Officer carried him back to his parents. Two rookie officers found the missing car about two miles away from the 711 at bridge and oxford. It was just after 2 00 this morning when police say they got a call from the boys stepfather he had gone into the store and theft car running outside with his 6yearold stepson sleeping inside. Whoever stole the vehicle decided to leave it on the side of the road at church and leaper street about two miles away from this scene with the boy inside unharmed and still sleeping. Were going to print that entire car, get dna evidence, were now, now that we know the boys okay and we found the car, now were going to catch the person who did this. Reporter heres video of that stolen car. It is a silver honda with a spoiler and tinted windows, almost every officer in the city of philadelphia was looking for it at some point this morning. Actually on our way to the scene on our way to this 711 we passed Police Officers who were stopping similar model cars along the side of the road getting out and looking to see if that was the stolen vehicle. Were following more breaking news this morning out of philadelphia. Dozens of neighbors in hunting park are forced to leave their homes after a Carbon Monoxide incident. Matt delucia is live for us in hunting park. Police are requesting a septa bus for those neighbors. Tell us more. Reporter we have not seen a septa bus out here at this point. Weve seen some of the folks go back in their homes but there is a home here to the end that is being aired out. Weve seen firefighters going door to door here, theres about a half dozen properties here on this block, this row block here on the 3700 block of north fifth street. And just in the past minutes we saw a man be loaded into an ambulance and taken away. That was a few moments ago. So clearly there is Carbon Monoxide incident that the firefighters are dealing with, you see an ambulance pulling away, pgw is out here as well. Like i said we have seen several residents still inside their properties, in fact, as this ambulance pulls away just beyond this here there is somebody in a doorway here that is looking out at all of the scene going on. So there are people inside their properties right now but of course the firefighters have been going door to door making sure that everybody is okay and there was that one person transported not long ago. You see some of the folks still out here Milling Around properties and also the firefighters for the most part now looks like that last fire truck left the scene. A couple secondings ago. This morning were following a developing story, sky force 10 is live over the overbrook section of philadelphia, crews are still on the scene of a fire at the cobbs creek golf course. Flames engulfed the clubhouse. Right now crews are dealing with flareups. We were concerned was in the back of this clubhouse where the fire was, it took control of the clubhouse, there are two buildings right up against it. No one was hurt. Investigators are looking for a cause. Montgomery county a home is destroyed after a fire. Sky force 10 showing the flames ripping through the house in lansdale. Everyone made it out safely. No one was hurt. This morning investigators are looking for a cause. Funeral services will be held later this week for a boy with autism found dead in allentown. The Lehigh County coroner has not confirmed a cause of death. The child did not have injuries. His body was found in a canal saturday. He had been missing since thursday when he ran from a party. Police believe his death was a tragic accident. A trip to the casino lands a new jersey couple behind bars. Ebony and jared are facing child endangerment charges, accused of leaving their three children, 1, 3 and 8, in their car while they gambled. The kids were left alone for an hour and 38 minutes. Those winds will be dying down and the temperatures above freezing in rehoboth beach. At freezing for cape may and plenty of sunshine today but you have to bundle up this morning. With the sunshine it will feel better this afternoon even though it will only be 32 in wilmington and philadelphia and 31 degrees in swedesboro. Mayor kenney wasted no time after his inauguration yesterday in taking his first action including making philadelphia a sanctuary city. The designation limits cooperation between Philadelphia Police and federal Law Enforcement in holding undocumented immigrants. It followed a series of federal raids across the country targeting undocumented immigrants. We spoke to an official with the Mexican Consulate in philadelphia. The targets are people of families that hold any kind of final removal orders and that they didnt comply with it so we need to keep in mind that its not like they are trying to deport everybody. The Mexican Consulate has a 24 7 hot line available for anyone seeking legal advice. President obama will use his executive powers to strengthen gun control laws, among the changes all gun sellers have to register as dealers even those who sell at gun shows and online. Sellers will have to run background checks on all prospective buyers. On 95 the ramp closures remain on 95 north at girard, 95 southbound at aramingo avenue but drive times are great, no Problems Center city southbound from woodhaven to the vine street expressway.
