Police say this girl was shot five times at least in the arm while she was hanging out with her friends. Police say this happened just after midnight on the 5900 block of springfield avenue. 16yearold with her friend standing on the steps outside the front door of a house. Thats when someone came up and started shooting. Now police dont know if this particular girl was the target, but there is no doubt that the shooter was indeed aiming at this crowd. Now the good news is this girl is expected to survive. Police officers rushed her to hospital in time, but who did this and why. Detectives have been talking with some of the witnesses here.
