You talked to a group of students hoping to learn something by attending the ceremony tomorrow. Tell us more about that, pamela. And while there is such thing as being too young to vote, we found a group of young people who say its never too soon to get involved in learning and understanding the political process of how it works. We sat down with a group of middle and High School Age students from delaware who tell us they will be attending those inaugural activities. They tell me its about being a part of history. Its a chance to meet with other people their age with an interest in politics. But most importantly, its a chance for them to participate, even though this election, they werent able to vote. Their professor said the trip is a Good Opportunity for students to interact with people who have different opinions. Trumps pick will testify before the Senate Finance committee. At the same sometime, the Senate Committee on energy and National Resources will hear from rick perry. President elect donald trump has chosen an agriculture secretary. Former georgia governor sonny perdue. The 70yearold served on the president elect Advisory Committee during the campaign. And still needed confirmed for the nomination. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to replace obamacare. Republicans are looking to make that a reality. The question is what will replace it . Tracy and vai, this morning, the brother of the cab driver shot 13 times left for dead is speaking exclusively to nbc10. The attack happened sunday morning on brooklyn street in west philadelphia. The cabbie sambou sylla was found on the sidewalk. The cab was still running. Police rushed him to the hospital. Got shot in the arm three times. Hand. Legs we dont know how many. Hes got seven kids to take care. Seven kids and a wife. And works. Just works, dont bother nobody. Good man. Police continue to look for the shooter in this case. In the meantime the philadelphia Taxicab Association is offering a 5,000 reward for anybody with information leading to an arrest. This morning, the search is on for the robbers who targeted a Consignment Shop in manayunk. One of the men involved tied up an employee and a customer. Nbc10s matt delucia joins us live. Reporter police tell us it was a terrifying thing for people inside. Happening on busy main street, here is the store that police say a man in a hat walked into the store. Its called remix. Its an update Consignment Shop. And the man had a gun. Tied up a 32yearold Woman Working here. Also tied up a 65yearold man who is a customer and forced both of them into a dressing room. Then the lights were turned off and two other men came into the store to finish the robbery, stealing fur coats, boots, workers purse and cash. It totals around 10,000. The man and woman inside the store tied up they were not injured physically. Thats good news there. The robbers wore gloves and they did not cover their faces. The Good News Police say cameras inside and outside of the store should help. As of now the manhunt continues. Im matt delucia. Former president george h. W.
