Six soldiers are hurt after a vehicle ran into them. In a paris suburb the driver got away. The mayor of paris says there is no doubt this was a deliberate act. Then 74 degrees at 10 00, a few scattered clouds in the afternoon but enough sunshine to warm temperatures into the 80s inland and at the shore. A rarely seen creature is appearing at the jersey shore this summer. Yeah, check out this 6footwide spiny butterfly ray. A man caught it while surfing. Others have hooked it recently as well. Unlike other kinds of rays, this type is rarely seen at the jersey shore. Im fishing every day, living out on the beach there, so were fishing all the time. Ive never seen a ray that big, a butterfly ray. The rays have a barb on their tail, but investigators say unless the creatures feel threatened, theyre generally harmless to people.
