Two days after his release from prison monsignor william lynn heads back to court this morning. Hes expected to learn when he will be retried on sex abuse coverup charges. Nbc10s matt delucia is there. Reporter it will be a new trial date for monsignor william lynn. He is out on bail, that doesnt mean, though, that his legal troubles are over just yet. Take a look, this is what it looks like tuesday afternoon, monsignor william lynn leaving the state prison, he was there nearly three years. Prosecutors have long argued that lynn was responsible for transferring pedophile priests from one parish to another but it was overturned saying it was irrelevant on appeal. Even though lynn already served out much of his sentence. The parole board granted him parole like in october. So the worst that can happen on a retrial, i mean, you know, the worst that can happen, he could be convicted and sentenced to two months. Reporter william lynns attorney there and ad. A.
