Reporter as you said, police now believe that the suspect is responsible for two crimes on saturday. That shooting in Overbrook Park and the murder that happened right here. Today philly police will compare ballistics evidence from both crime scenes to confirm it. The murder victim was an accountant, a high school and Temple University graduate. Police say in the prime of his life. They are confident they will catch his killer, especially with the 5,000 reward in the case. We know somebody out there knows this guy. Reporter this is the man detectives are trying to track down. He is wanted to shooting and killing 29yearold john lee at the apartments in ardmore. According to police, lee, an accountant, had just picked up pizza from a shop and was on his way to visit a friend shortly after 6 00 saturday night. Thats when the gunman outside. Surveillance video doesnt capture the moment they encountered each other. They could have had a robbery. The victims cell phone is missing. In the video it appears the shooter has a cell phone in his hand. He has a handgun, also. Reporter investigators believe the gunman is responsible for edaho5 minutes Overbrook Park near 77th street. Philadelphia Police Say Witnesses told them he wa sing the neighborhood. When residents in a car approached to find out what he was doing, they exchanged words offd7 rounds at their car. No one was injured. Were concerned. Its a quiet neighborhood. For the most part. Reporter it was those victims in Overbrook Park who saw the image of the suspect from the murder here in ardmore. They called police and said, thats the same man who was shooting at us earlier in the evening. We saw him get away in a gray volvo sedan. There is now a 5,000 reward in this case. They may have gotten out the back door. In bucks county, police are looking for a missing mother who left her baby behind in a hotel room. Officers are trying to find erica lopez. Shes 34 and lives in philadelphia. Staff at the Knights Inn Hotel found her 7monthold in the room. Illegal drugs were in sight in the room. The baby was fine. If you know where she is, call police. Happening today in montgomery county, a former teacher who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two teenage girls will learn his punishment. Sentencing set for this afternoon. The suspected gunman allegedly shot at a group of people just 45 minutes before the murder. Rosemary conners is live with an update on the investigate. Reporter the Delaware County District Attorneys Office along with police are now offering a 5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the murder suspect. Investigators say they have a clear image of the killer. They are confident people will recognize him. This is the man that detectives are trying to track down.
