The playground had a huge influence on you growing up. Detroit, you were recently home. What was that like . Well, thats big conversation, detroit is a very interesting place to be right now. Obviously, they are on incredible hard times but it is an exciting place to be a as well, also the game was disappointing but still thanksgiving i have a lot to be thankful for and happy to be home with my family. How great you are giving back, sounds like thats very important to you. Philadelphia gives me a lot. To be able to play for the city, to be able to play for these fans, for mr. Laurie, our coaches, i get a lot from the city, i think its only right i try to use what i have to try to give back. So, good, congratulations to you. Connor will be honored wednesday night at the loews hotel in philadelphia. Thanks very much. Appreciate it. Thank you. Well, we have had some dry weather lately but that is about to change. We are not getting out of the mild weather pattern though. Rain coming in during the night tonight. Light rain. Then it gets a little heavier and then we got more of it tuesday, more of it wednesday, and a very warm november about to end. Cloudy skies across much of the area now, 44 degrees, the winds east northeast at 13 miles an hour. Theres that wind coming in off of the ocean and so its increasing the moisture. Its also increasing the decreasing the temperatures prevented from warming up very much. It is still 39 in pottstown, reading, quakertown, allentown, doylestown, 40 degrees in coatesville and with the clouds thickening up, it is not going to get to warm up a whole lot more than it is now. 44 in philadelphia, we probably wont even get to 50 degrees today. And places like mount holly and trenton, closer you are to the ocean, the lesser the chance of seeing a big temperature rise. But its 52 in beach haven, 52 in louis, delaware, the ocean is not as cold as the land right now. We have some light rain around the washington, d. C. Area, creeping up this way as we head toward the night tonight. Its not racing here, not especially heavy, but thats just around one. Theres a lot more coming, some of it all the way back into arkansas, big storm in the middle of the country, but that part is not coming that way, theres a lot of snow there, going up into canada. We are not seeing an overall change in this mild weather pattern, at least not as we start december. Temperatures in the 40s, generally cloudy skies, the rain builds up as we go up to the evening hours, 7, 8, 9 00 tonight. Starts becoming more widespread, if anything, the temperature goes up during the night tonight. So, its not going to be cold by tomorrow morning. Look at that, 51 degrees at 7 a. M. Philadelphia, even warmer in delaware and south jersey. Allentown, 47 degrees. Tomorrow morning, in the 30s now. So, we get the rain but we also get warmer at the same time. We are not expecting much in the way of heavy rain during the day tomorrow, document see those yellows and oranges here but watch what happens as we go into wednesday. Hey, there is a little bit of a break tuesday night and then here comes the next part on wednesday, some of that could be on the heavier side, watch this. Theres 1 clack on wednesday. And then it just all day and by the time were finished with all of this, by wednesday afternoon or evening, there will probably be at least an inch of rain falling in much of the area. Clouds thickening up, some light rain generally in delaware late or today and of course, more widespread during the night tonight. Fairly rainey day tomorrow, but its not going to be real heavy rain. It is going to be mild though. 56. And then close to 60 with the heaviest rain coming in on wednesday. We dry out on thursday and once we do dry out, it looks like its going to stay dry and not all that cold all the way through the weekend, looks like a nice weekend. We will be right back. Coming up this afternoon starting at 3 00, day four of ellens 12 days of christmas giveaways and the gifts keep getting bigger and bigger. Now to an update on our top story, three people are dead in Montgomery County and police are calling it a murdersuicide. Police in hatfield found the three bodies just before midnight in a home on diamond street. We are also learning that a 27yearold woman and a 4yearold child were in the home at the time. They werent hurt. Neighbors say they didnt hear any gunshots and they didnt suspect any issues in the home. Now lets get one last look at the weather with nbc 10 chief meteorologist, glenn hurricane schwartz. We are about to end the second warmest november ever recorded in philadelphia and we do not see any signs of the change in that pattern. So today maybe the coldest day of this next week. Wow, we have been spoiled. Yeah. And today, these temperatures are close to average. The cloud rinse ceasing. We havent had a whole lot of rain in november but going to have some tonight and into tomorrow. Not necessarily heavy rain, but a lot of hours of rain. And then on wednesday, if we are going to be getting any heavy rain, it would occur on wednesday. Also could be the warmest day of the week when we could get up to 60 degrees in parts of the area. And then the timing of this, looks like it will be drying out the end of the week and next weekend, another fairly nice weekend. Look at that, timing is everything. How about black friday . We have got that most spectacular. Incredible. Retailers sending you thank yous, for sure. Thats right. It is going to be not as warm as that this next friday and the following weekend, but now we are talking about december. And we are still talking about temperatures in the 50s and sunshine. Yeah, crazy spoiled. Couple wet days and things will improve. Got t thanks for watching nbc 10 news at 11 00, for nbc 10 chief meteorologist, glenn hurricane schwartz and all of us here at nbc 10 have great day, remember the nbc 10 news app for updates throughout the day.
