In all, seven people were killed and nearly 0 others hurt. The first incident happened on the London Bridge where a van barreled into a crowd. The three attackers then went on a stabbing spree at a nearby market. Today Prime Minister theresa may said while the attacks in both london and manchester two weeks ago are not directly connected, terrorism breeds terrorism. He just flew back from london where an attack at the London Bridge and nearby brough market happened minutes from his hotel. It was terrifying. Johnson says afterwards the streets in london were eerily kwai. When we got off the train, it was just like a ghost town. I mean, it was we started walking, and then our phones started going off and we started reading what was happening. This is was third attack in three months in england. Kieran hall from gloucester, england says he still feels safe. I trust the police in the uk and what the Prime Minister is trying to do. But its enough to worry michele gale. Shes in about 30 miles from london. You feel like youre on tenderhooks and if you see someone, do you think they have a bomb with them . Now, this attack happened at a london landmark. I spoke with multiple people today who said they had been to the London Bridge on their trip just in the days and hours before the attack. In a fleury of tweets this morning President Trump criticized londons mayor for saying there was no reason to be alarmed. The mayor made the comment while trying to reassure londoners about an increased presence they might see. The president tweeted at least seven dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and mayor of london says there is no reason to be alarmed. In the final tweet trump noted the attackers used a van to slam into pedestrians and then assaulted people with knives. He tweeted did you notice we are not having a gun debate right now . Thats because they used knives and a truck. A spokesperson for londons mayor dismissed the tweets saying he has more important things to do than respond to Donald Trumps ill informed tweet that deliberately takes out of context his remarks urging londoners not to be alarmed when they saw more police, including armed officers, on the streets.
