Rudy giuliani was the visual representative for the campaign today, appearing on meet the press and addressing calls for trump to get out of the race. He was selected by more Republican Voters than anyone has ever been selected in a republican primary. He owes them the duty to run. It is true that he said something and said a group of things during that interview that are reprehensible and awful and terrible and he feels terrible about it. You may remember that after the first president ial debate, donald trump said that he didnt bring up bill clintons infidelities because chelsea clinton, bill and hillarys daughter, was in the audience. Both chelsea and bill are expected to be in the hall tonight. I asked clintons Campaign Manager whether theyre prepare frd an uncomfortable situation. He said they are. The group interrupted mayor jim kenny during the citys seventh annual flag raising ceremony this morning. This comes after racism claims within philadelphias gay community. Last month, an lgbt owner was under fire for allegedly using racial slurs. The mayor released a statement. Discrimination is not something that one person or one office can be expected to solve on its own. Its on all of us, and i hope the hearing that the Philadelphia Commission on human relations is holding on racism in the gayborhood will start to move the ball forward.
