Deanna durante spent the day in court. Reporter attorney general Kathleen Kane smiles as she walks into court today. She was not smiling as prosecutor Michelle Henry told a jury of 12 Kathleen Kane was on a mission of revenge. It was a sunday back in march of 2014 when prosecutors say kane read an article critical of her. It was a frontpage story that kane had shut down an investigation of lawmakers. Prosecutors say she believes she wanted to get revenge. The emails said, quote, this is war. The email chain was between kane and a former staffer. Prosecutors say kane then got, quote, her people to leak secret material to another reporter, to embarrass the staffer and get even. Kanes Legal Team Denies it saying she did nothing wrong and she forgot she signed a secrecy oath to prevent her from talking about the investigation. On the stand a detective said search warrants uncovered the secrecy oaths, signed not just by kane, but members of her inner sick will. On the stand a detective read a text message from Kathleen Kanes phone. This message he said was sent after those grand jury materials were leaked to a reporter. The message . The thing about swimming is its not just about talent. Swimming is a sport that if you work hard, that hard work can surpass talent. Reporter lindsey swam at the university of pittsburgh and her family now owns the aquatic club and popular swim school. Lindsey knows what a swimming champion looks like, but she said its important for your young kids to try a bunch of different sports. If theyre competitive swimmers at 12 or 13, maybe meet with a Swimming Coach in your area. Get their honest opinion on your childs potential. We watch the olympics together, we watch the interviews together. Reporter marks twin daughters are pretty good swimmers. The 7yearolds put in the practice time. If they love swimming, dad is happy to support them. If they start crushing the competition, maybe they would take the next step. Once they get to the 12, 13, 14 age, then you have to kick it into high gear, you really have to put the training in. Especially up toward the Lehigh Valley and poconos. Then on thursday, we have better chances of showers. Not in the morning.
