The penalty phase in the trial of convicted cop killer eric frein is now under way in pike county. Frein was found guilty on all charges yesterday in the deadly ambush of two Pennsylvania State troopers in 2014. Now the jury will decide whether to put frein on death row or sentence him to life in prison. This afternoon the widow of Corporal Brian Dixon spoke to the jury for more than an hour. We brought this to you as breaking news. Tonight we know the man who Police Killed was wanted in connection with another shooting. Nbc 10 is learning more about the suspect and what police say happened. What have you learned about this . Reporter the suspects name is keith price. It all started when they tried to serve a warrant for his arrest. By the time it all ended in the parking lot of this church, innocent bystanders were involved in car crashes, a school was on lockdown and that 21 year old was dead. Major crime squad detectives identified keith price as suspected shooter in the april 9th shooting. Reporter New Castle County police say keith price fled in his green civic setting off a pursuit as officers tried to arrest him on attempted murder charges. Keith price continued to ignore officers commands and crashed his vehicle into a fully marked Police Vehicle before driving from the scene. Reporter initially an officer fired one shot but that didnt slow him down. They say price crashed into innocent bystanders before running away. The Police Officers were screaming get on the ground. Get on the ground. Reporter police shot and killed the 21yearold in the parking lot of st. Helenas catholic church. We have additional princess, coloring books. Police returned to the church today. Reporter what we learned from that press conference is the soccer coach who is suspected of imprig impregnatin 15yearold girl and he is the father. He lives in the 700 block of south street. Hes in jail under a 750,000 bond.
